My Life in a box
Revisado: 06-23-24
omg Cathy. hearing this reminds me so much of my life. not to this extent, but so much of what happened to Jodie happened to me. social Services NEVER got involved and I know it was infear of the males in my life. I am 50 now but throughout my life I have my moments of the shut down. I have 2 children and a husband not the father to either ,but even with them I still don't feel I've been loved nor safe like I should have been all them years ago. I to have D.I.D and that alone is so much to deal with on a daily. tiresome for the family because they don't know who or what tomorrow will bring.

Historia
Evie and Elliot are scrawny, filthy, and wide-eyed with fear when they turn up on foster carer Maggie Hartley's doorstep. Aged just two and three years old, this brother and sister have hardly set foot outside their own home. They have been prisoners, locked in a terrifying world of abuse, violence, and neglect. Maggie soon realizes that Evie and Elliot are lacking the basic life skills we all take for granted. The outside world terrifies them; the sound of the doorbell sends them into a panic that takes hours to abate.

Historia
Sally Skellington is the official Pumpkin Queen after a whirlwind courtship with her true love, Jack, who Sally adores with every inch of her fabric seams—if only she could say the same for her new role as Queen of Halloween Town. She can't help but wonder if all she's done is trade her captivity under Dr. Finkelstein for a different cage. But when she and Zero accidentally uncover a doorway to an ancient realm called Dream Town, she'll unknowingly set into motion a chain of sinister events that put her future as Pumpkin Queen, and the future of Halloween Town itself, into jeopardy.

Historia
In this thrilling installment of the inner-workings of Gabbie’s mind, we’re taken on a journey of self-loathing, self-reflection, and ultimately, self-acceptance through deeply metaphorical imagery, chilling twists on child-like rhymes, and popular turns of phrase turned on their heads. Through raw, provocative tidbits, Dandelion explores what it means to struggle with a declining mental health in a world where mental health is both stigmatized and trivialized.
