Historia
Matt Rife is well aware that he’s both the most loved and the most controversial comic in America today. And honestly, he thinks that’s your problem. Matt reveals (without apology, of course) what led him to becoming comedy’s biggest lightning rod before he reached thirty, in a story full of bold and hysterical takes on everything from Justin Bieber tramp stamps and rap battles with ex-cons to Matt’s struggles with depression and his many brushes with failure before finally hitting it big.

A bit of everything and it's fresh.
Revisado: 12-17-24
I love how the narrating is done by Matt. You get a up close and personal feel for Matt's life. He has ups and downs but also has laughter to show you that life is full of shit and farts are funny.
This book gave it a more personal feel and one that makes you want to look to see where he is performing next.
This world is full of up tights and it's people like Matt that makes it better.

Historia
Barbara was 12 when she was admitted to the psychiatric hospital Aston Hall in 1971. From a troubled home, she'd hoped she would find sanctuary there. But during her stay, Barbara was systematically drugged and abused by its head physician, Dr Kenneth Milner. Somehow, eventually, she started to campaign for answers. This is a shocking account of how vulnerable children were preyed upon by the doctor entrusted with their care.

What a twist
Revisado: 11-18-23
I loved how it went back and forth with each person's story of events. You really got to know each characters side. This book is very well put together. The storey is very realistic in true life events that can happen to anyone. Keeps you wanting to read more to where you do not want to put it down. Just when you think you have it all figured out....And then you don't.
