I found, true to Chris philbrook form, excellent character development. Chris has a way of writing a story and absolutely hooking you immediately. you become very invested in all of his characters, I have found this with every book of his that I have read. my only problem with this book is the narrator. I was probably extremely spoiled to James Anderson Foster who did all of the undead diary series until the last book. the narrator has excellent voices and does a great job with the characters , however his actual narration is very irritating. it sounds as if he did not proofread the book, mispronounces words and takes pauses at very awkward moments. all in all I think this is an excellent book with very good stories worth the read if you're looking for new books to buy!

LOVED this book!!!

Obviously RC Bray is phenomenal, no shock there. I have loved alot of what Jeremy Robinson has written, this was no exception. Very good character development, tons of humor and tons of action with a really cool twist to the story. I am hoping for a series!!

Liked the book, HATED the reader

I have loved all of Adrian's stories. I think Chris Philbrook is a brilliant writer, however, this reader was horrible. At times it felt like he was trying to emulate James Foster but not well. Other times it sounded like a bad Captain Kirk. I barely made it through. I have listened to all of the Adrian stories but honestly, don't think I will purchase another one if they use this reader again.

Great addition to an awesome series

excellent addition to a phenomenal series. A little confusing as to the timeline in the very beginning but work itself out nicely. lots of action comedy lots of laughs and there's no way NOT to fall in love with these characters.

Really, Really Good!

I was very pleasantly surprised at how awesome this book was. The narration was incredible, you really feel like you are in a movie. The adventures were exciting and hilarious. I only hope Drew will decide to make this a series, it would be fantastic!
