It took me quite some time to feel brave enough to read the LIVE YOUR LIFE book on audible, though I’d pre-ordered it when it was still in development. I followed the Nick Cordero story from the early days of the pandemic, always so moved by the abiding love his family and friends had for him as he struggled as an early Covid patient, especially the enduring thoughtfulness of his loving wife, Amanda Kloots. She and her sister have written a beautiful thing, and I am just devastated and moved by the profundity of his life story. I am grateful for the impactful read. Cannot wait for the movie.

Adored the book, SO LUCKY!
Revisado: 11-08-19
I’m an Instagram follower of Dawn’s and expected the book to be a bit sillier, based on the fun the has on her IG stories. The book was darker than I expected, but I liked the humor, nonetheless. I found the contemporary analysis of life as we live it, now, on modern social media quite revelatory, deep. “Well done, ya saucy minx,” I’d say, if I knew Dawn in person, which I do not, but feel like I do, and wish I did. #hugs

Historia
In 2017, a routine network television investigation led to a story only whispered about: one of Hollywood’s most powerful producers was a predator, protected by fear, wealth, and a conspiracy of silence. As Farrow drew closer to the truth, shadowy operatives, from high-priced lawyers to elite war-hardened spies, mounted a secret campaign of intimidation, threatening his career, following his every move, and weaponizing an account of abuse in his own family.

I have listened to this book three times...
Revisado: 10-22-19
I have listened to this book three times... I kept feeling I was with Ronan, completing this mission, as I was listening along. I had to understand every nuance, every crook and narrow, every subterfuge. I cried at the end, all three times. I think I may listen to it a fourth. It is mind-blowing the length and breadth the corporate boys’ club will go to cover up for actual serial rapist predators. Thank you, Ronan, for telling us the truth. These women deserve to be free.
