I love this author. This was. What was this?! I can give the story line some grace as it’s part of an improbable meet- cute collection but no witty banter… no thoughtful descriptions… and the main character’s back story was just *cringe. I debated listening on triple speed just to get it over with but it only took a couple commutes.

This author duo makes me yearn for more. Reminds me how cheap the other backups feel when I’m listening and reading waiting for them to crank out another excellent read. Every line and scene so thoughtfully crafted. It’s not just words getting you from A to B. It’s adjectives embedding you in the moment with quirky observations that make you speed through something you want to savor and marinate in. Love. Love. Love this!!!!!

William Munt IMMEDIATELY turned me off. I've never stopped listening bc of a narrator. I probably should have. It was so badly over acted he ruined Blake! And the story for me. Clearly I've listened to all the others in this series- so was interested to see what happened with this love story. But I just found myself so distracted and disengaged bc of the male narrator. Brutal.
