I liked the story, it wasn't amazing, but engaging. But the narrator was hard to follow, the cadence was weird and common words she mispronounced and it was jarring. One notable. Ascertain pronounced ass-certain (rhyme with curtain). I had to back the narration back to figure out what it was.

I can't relax into the narration, the cadence is off, and nearly computer generated sounding. I finished it, but it was a hard go.
