Historia
Ex-military policeman Jack Reacher is a drifter. He’s just passing through Margrave, Georgia, and in less than an hour, he’s arrested for murder. Not much of a welcome. All Reacher knows is that he didn’t kill anybody. At least not here. Not lately. But he doesn’t stand a chance of convincing anyone. Not in Margrave, Georgia. Not a chance in hell.

You can't develop a better skill than the one that controls the mind. Whether it is your own mind or someone else's. Do you know why that is? You see, a skill of persuasion and manipulation can help you make other people do what you want them to do. Directly or indirectly. And I have spent enough years in practice to teach it.

This is probably the worst recording on Audible. The information is so basic there’s really no value in it at all. Please don’t waste your time or money.

Ridiculous Reading
Revisado: 01-18-19
I love this book. I have read it many times. I took a pilgrimage to the cave where it was written. I read anything I can find on this topic and the author. Jim Donaldson’s adoption of what he apparently thinks the author sounded like is ridiculous. His groaning is a total distraction. This classic stands on its own and is only cheapened by Donaldson’s ridiculous affectation.

Japan’s Gone With the Wind. Beautifully written. Beautifully narrated. One of my favorite books. Wiki Yoshikawa conveys the warrior spirit and the martial way in a story of one man’s journey to enlightenment and self discovery.

Inspiring story told beautifully
Revisado: 11-25-13
What did you love best about Fearless?
I enjoyed the intimate details conveyed in such a simple way.
Which character – as performed by Paul Michael – was your favorite?
Paul Michael did a wonderful job telling the story of Adam Brown. I can't imagine anyone else doing it better.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book inspired me. I sometimes lapse in my dedication to the job because I am so far removed from the fight. This book reminded me why I do what I do. My role is a minor one, but I feel that my support to the war fighter is needed. This book reminded me that though I am not in harms way, I support those who are. My fight is easy in comparison.

What did you love best about Across the Nightingale Floor?
I loved everything about this book! The setting of feudal Japan provides an excellent backdrop for communicating cultural insights and sex/gender based issues. The story of these ill-fated lovers was extreemly well told by the naration performances of Kevin Gray and Aiko Nakasone. The risk and reward at stake through this relationship is painted perfectly in the setting of feuding warlords in Japan.

No headlines can reveal their top-secret missions, and no book has ever taken readers inside—until now. Here, a founding member of Delta Force takes us behind the veil of secrecy and into the action to reveal the never-before-told story of First Special Forces Operational Detachment-D (Delta Force).

Naration matters.
Revisado: 02-14-13
Would you try another book from Eric L. Haney and/or Robertson Dean?
This book was a clear and concise account of the stand up and early history of Delta Force. It was very well written withour glorification or "cheese." I really enjoyed it and would read other books from this author.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked the clear picture of the selection and training process for Delta Force.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Robertson Dean?
Although Robertson Dean's narration might have been well suited to the author's attitude, I wished for more inflection.
Was Inside Delta Force worth the listening time?
Definitely!

The name "Tom Sawyer" is synonymous with the adventures of boyhood. Bold and clever, Tom gets into and out of trouble with an ease many listeners will envy. A story beloved by children, it also has relevance for adults. Twain's beloved classic of growing up in Midwest America is as popular today as when it was first published in 1876.
