Fundamentalalist Christian message
Revisado: 10-17-22
Enjoyed 80's reminiscing but overused & heavy handed, pro-Christian exorcist with ludicrous finale was dreadful

Historia
Whether romantic or platonic, changing relationships prove tricky for Rose, Tom, Clara, and Craig—never mind adapting to the new not-so-normal. Being surrounded by the undead is bad enough, but with a tyrant-in-training running their Safe Zone, it’s that much worse.

Good read and better than the first book.
Revisado: 04-02-22
Though this is my least favorite of Sarah Lyons Fleming's zombie series, Book 2 was a big step up from Book 1. The developing romantic relationships were believable, well paced and I was invested in them. The friendships (both old and new) between the groups of survivors were both touching and entertaining. The pace of this book was the biggest improvement over the last. I really like Fleming's general emphasis on character and relationship over non-stop zombie kills. However, Book 1 was so slow with so few zombies that I was often just bored. She picked up the pace in Book 2. The various narrators have grown on me since the first book where Rose and Tom performances both grated my nerves. By this book they felt more lived in and, though they still aren't my favorites, I felt like I knew them. The romance in it is not the level of "Until the End of the World" but I've never found anything that good despite searching far and wide. Overall entertaining and I'll definitely read the final book.

Historia
Harriet, Jack, and Toby are treasure hunters, searching the Minecraft world for its most valuable hidden secrets. In an abandoned mineshaft, they discovered the first of three lost journals that once belonged to William, a legendary explorer who has gone missing. The journals have taken them on a daring adventure to a secret temple deep within a desert biome, then into the perilous depths of the Nether. Now the treasure hunters are facing their greatest challenge yet.

Cool book

This book is a fun read, even if Charles laughs too much and it's cringy.
