Good story, poor recording
Revisado: 11-29-15
I am a fan of MG J.E.B. Stuart, I was excited to listen to this biography. I was disappointed in how many times the recording repeated itself, no less than 10 times.

Historia
General Stonewall Jackson was like no one anyone had ever seen. In April of 1862 he was merely another Confederate general with only a single battle credential in an army fighting in what seemed to be a losing cause. By middle June he had engineered perhaps the greatest military campaign in American history and was one of the most famous men in the Western World. He had given the Confederate cause what it had recently lacked: hope.

A Truly Faithful General
Revisado: 11-25-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Rebel Yell to be better than the print version?
Yes, the book is so in depth that at times it drags in print. In audio I was able to better grasps the descriptions of the marches and battles.
Who was your favorite character and why?
It is a biography of LTG T.J. Stonewall Jackson, so I would have to say he was in fact my favorite character. He was tactically savvy, and true Christian Gentlemen. In his duty he acted mercilessly, executing orders as written and allowing no man to derelict his duty.
Have you listened to any of Cotter Smith’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, but he is a great performer for books that have a Southern flair.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Stonewalls know no fear!
