Heros all of you.
Revisado: 08-05-24
God bless you for your story. I was in Head Start the first time my father deployed. memories of my mother telling us kids to not let ppl know our father was out of country saying the protesters would attack us. When Dad came home he was spit on. America had changed he volunteered to take another tour and was deployed again after only being home for less than 3 weeks. I remember watching the news every day looking for my father. I didn't understand years of not knowing if he was alive or dead. As a child my father told me he had to go fight to protect other little kids who didn't have a father to protect them. Still now I talk to him , remember him as a hero. your book had me remember how awful we were treated but the horrific way our men and women were treated is a shame on each protester.
Even today my son served 4 tours in Iraq we have seen protesters at funerals of young men and women spitting on them saying awful things. Shame on those who have not served.

A look in to mans lack of humanity
Revisado: 05-22-24
WOW another great book. Showing mans lack of humanity . I had to pause the book during the horrific torment of animals, I volunteer with a rescue out of Omaha, I've seen the aftermath of abused animals.. character Quinn got of easy. I could have thought of a fitting death for that man.
A Outstanding narrator you are able to feel each twist and torment through his narration and the change in his voice. Listening to the next book in this series.

Though a good book it had slow parts. It did not grab me like Mr. Isle other books. I would have liked Sheriff Sunny to have a larger role , the Asian gang was not explain completely. Overall as always Mr. Isle wrote a good book. looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I am disappointed that the first book in the Mississippi series is no longer available.

OMG my new favorite author bought this book first
Revisado: 05-18-24
I was looking for a new book to read/ listen to. After reading the title information I thought okay I'll give it a try. Mr. Isle had me in the first paragraph.. I was only in about five chapters when I bought the trilogy 96 hours of blissful listening. Edge of the seat heart pumping drama. This book was bought out of order but it is awesome I found myself sitting up until 3-4 am listening to this detail oriented blood pumping mind twisting story. you feel as if your there fighting the Knox brothers and Sheriff Bird. Wanting to shake Tom Cage to stop stepping on his own Attorney toes. Mr Isle is a Great storyteller . This week alone I have purchased 9 more of his books. Looking forward to many day's and nights gett

Prizefighter tough. Street-hustler smart. Pit-bull vicious. Longshoremen’s union leader Charlie Vitteli is like a cold-blooded villain straight out of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Busting heads on the docks of New York as a brash union organizer, taking no prisoners as the newest president of the North American Brotherhood of Stevedores, Vitteli clawed his way to the top of the heap - and no one’s going to take him down now. Not if they value their lives.

very good storyline couldn't stop listening to it 2 days awake until 3:00 a.m. though I don't understand how the character Tron went from being next to a member of the family as a friend to Lucy since a small child and that was being described as a acquaintance that's his backstory answers a lot of questions looking forward to the next book in the series

Historia
Escape is a classic encounter between the forces of good and evil in human form that asks, and answers, questions of how to deal with supposedly "God-inspired" acts of murder and mayhem. In a riveting trial of garish courtroom confrontations, newly elected New York District Attorney Karp battles the "insanity of the insanity defense", as he tries to make Jessica Campbell, a rabble-rousing political science professor at NYU, pay for the murder of her three children. While Campbell claims that God told her to "send her three children to Him," it is up to Karp to prove that she was fully aware of the nature and consequences of her actions.

Revisado: 06-18-22
Had to listen to this book twice taking notes of the MANY plots and sub plots and sub plots to the sub plots. narrator did not get favorite characters voices right. KARP'S VOICE sounded less than what you would think with Marlene sounding like a New York bouncer. Way to many plots.
