good book overall, quality drop with some of the voices.
and the whole "conflict" with the team was just straight up stupid. Crup or whatever was escalating that conflict the whole time and everyone just ignores that tidbit of her still trying to get ready to shoot. Not only that but how does a small town department stand up to the DoAA yet the people who have known him and his aunt (even dating) not do a single thing? and Declans over reaction? way to forced.

this series is good, the 1st and 2nd books are good, 3rds a miss (just my opinion) and the 4th is better than ok with a cliffhanger that's probably never going to be finished. just like the kingkiller chronicles
The voice actor Nick Podehl is amazing as always.
My main problem is while the MC is OP he has little emotional development and when he does it's either squashed right away by MC, a total... meltdown I guess you could say but totally in line with his training (3rd book) or left with the cliffhanger that author isn't going to finish (more than likely).
But I can easily view it (the books) as the development of the people around our MC... except her... the rest of you who have read or listened to this know who I'm talking about.
