I would have loved to have listen to this series because, so far, it was good.....BUT I can not take listening to the robotic voice of the female character. Whom, by the way, does 90% of the reading...AAAHHHH Please redo this series with a different female narrator!!

Ok, so it took me forever to finally get these books, but Wow....I thought "I should have gotten these sooner"! They are energy inducing, emotional, ride or die, high nail-biting suspense!! Some of the best writing I've ever listened to or read. I couldn't wait every day to get to my book......
AND then 🫢🤔🤨😵💫 What the heck happened to the ending????? WOW, that's how we ended this story?!! It was very anticlimactic!! 😩😢😢

As much as I love the story and Jacob....I'm just not sure I can finish the series! 🫤
First, Jacob should have read way more. The female narrator pauses too long in between....well everything! She pauses in the middle of sentences, between sentences and sometimes between words that should be together. It drives me crazy, but maybe you will not mind it!! It's also the slowest burn RH I've ever listened to or read. AND don't get me started on ALL the inner dialog. It becomes so monotonous that I just yell..."get on with it"!
I must say this is all surprising, because I love Eva and have most all of her books and love them.....what happened?
