Historia
A Spillworthy is an idea so good, it has to be shared and ten-year-old Ulysses Finch doesn't let being homeless get in his way. He scrawls his best thoughts on pizza boxes, releases them into the wild, and relishes every response. After moving to Idaho, Ulysses finds Gem Rost's journal and dives into reading it. She must be a kindred spirit! Or is she?

Excellent Story with Amazing Narrator!!!
Revisado: 01-07-15
Spillworthy is a fascinating story with just enough twists to keep one on the edge of one's seat. Unlike some books, it doesn't try to be too clever, which more often than not leads to plot or character confusion. In Spillworthy, the reader knows and understands enough to feel a connection to the book and its characters without becoming bored by overly predictable story arcs.
While the author has created highly relatable characters, narrator Mark Blowers, once again, demonstrates his remarkable ability to understand the innermost makeup of each character. Mr. Blower's narration takes the reader on a magnificent journey where the depth of each character is gently and slowly exposed as though he were carefully removing the petals of a rose, one at a time, until the secret core was revealed. His voice, alone, turns the words on the pages into a glorious mental movie. To take a story written as distinct, staccato journal entries and create a vivid and seamless stream of activity and emotions is but a part of the genius of Mr. Blowers. While the book was written for teenage audiences, I would very highly recommend that adults listen to the brilliant interpretation by narrator Mark Blowers.

Historia
Life didn't start to get complicated for Peter Crombie until he died. After a freak accident involving a golf-ball and Peter's face, it should have all been over, but Death hadn't counted on Peter's father being a Mad-Professor. Now there's a bloodthirsty Countess on the loose, and Peter's only help is a vampire-ghost and a capuchin monkey. If only Peter could stop going 'Oooaaarrgghhh!' long enough to save the day. Being dead is less boring than expected.

Fantastic Narrator
Revisado: 10-30-14
If you could sum up Peter Crombie, Teenage Zombie in three words, what would they be?
Superb, Fascinating, Engaging
What about Mark Blowers’s performance did you like?
Mark's rendition of Teenage Zombie was easy to understand and follow; his voice seemed totally natural as if he were actually telling us a real story he recalled; it was very easy to follow the different characters when he gave each one a different voice; he wasn't too slow or too fast like some narrators I've tried to hear. He was definitely one of the best narrators I have heard, and I have listened to many audiobooks.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wasn't sure. I actually listened to it several times because Mark Blower's made it come to life. It was like watching a move several times and seeing different things you had missed the previous time.
