I know how crazy this will sound, but after a freak accident, I woke up in the 1950s...and met a really special guy. His name is Daniel Parker. He's adorable, sweet, hot, and everything else I've been searching for. There might be a way to return to my own time, but I'm not sure I can leave him.

I finished this story a week ago, and I still cant stop thinking about it. Jay bell did an outstanding job with this one. They way he seamlessly blends the past with the present is perfect. I feel in love with all the characters in this book especially the main characters. It felt like each character that was introduced had enough depth that you are not left with many questions. Also the way elements of black history during the 1950's are introduced felt very well researched and handled with the gravity it should be. I throughly enjoyed this book and I can't recommended it enough.

Excellent story

I don’t usually gravitate towards apocalyptic stories, all though I’ve watched quite a few before 2020. This story has multiple hints of familiarity and refreshing representation that Inevitably put this one at the top of my best reads of 2022 so far. You can’t help but fall in love with the main characters and root for them. The story is told with great wit, some great laughs, and doesn’t shy away from the sad and gory bits. The narrators do an excellent job at handling the characters involved. I happy to add this one to my audible collection, and I am looking forward to more stories from Erik J. Brown.

Beautiful love Story

I loved this story! How it involved so much of each main characters families. How it showed the flaws and strengths of both of the main characters while complementing them. The narrators did such an excellent job, I was never confused on which character was speaking. I can’t recommend this story enough. You will smile, laugh, and probably cry, but every word in this story is worth a listen. Need more of Sydney Smith stories in my life.

When the story first started I was very skeptical on where the story might lead. In all though I am happy to say that this story is seriously a work of art. Excellent character development and great pacing, I loved how relevant it was to our current dating scene and a current field of tech. This was one audiobooks that I couldn't stop listening to, as I usually only listen during long car rides. When I had to stop my mind keep jumping back to characters and the highly addictive plot. Honestly don't even this twice about downloading this one. Trust me you will be happy you did!
