Great story, awful narrator
Revisado: 06-28-16
It's a shame that this book wasn't narrated better. The story is really great. There aren't many books that deal with PTSD, and even fewer that are love stories. Meghan O'Brien is by far one of my favorite authors in this category, I will buy every book she writes, I just hope she gets a different narrator for her next book.

Can't stop reading this book !!!
Revisado: 10-31-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I absolutely would recommend this book to anyone who has ever been or wants to be in love.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I couldn't chose between the two main characters, it would be unfair. Therese and Carol have their own unique flaws and strengths.
Have you listened to any of Cassandra Campbell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I could listen to this woman talk forever. I will find more from her.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There first kiss in Waterloo. What every first kiss should be like.
Any additional comments?
I have not been able to stop listening to this book over and over. The book is excellent and the narrator, Cassandra Campbell, is what I would imagine God sounds like.

What the heck!!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I am floored at how bad this book was. Ms. O'Brien is one of my fav's. I don't think it was the supernatural aspect because I loved Wild. This was just so unbelievable that it was hard to read or listen to. I don't have any thing I can say to help.
What could Meghan O’Brien have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I really don't know.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The ending of this book was the best part of this book. I am not being a smart ass, it really was better written than the beginning or middle.
Any additional comments?
I will still read the next one of Ms. Obrien's books but I sincerely hope the next one is better
