I read this novel when it first came out and loved it. I was nervous about the audio. I was very pleased with the narrator. She brought the book and characters to life in a wonderful way.

The change in narrator is so GLARING! It is impossible to hear the story. The narrator makes several of the characters sound the same and when they are in a conversation, it is difficult to know which character is speaking. After 7 books with Aris, changing the narrator is HORRIBLE!

I am fan of S.E. Smith books. I have read almost all of them. I was very excited when they became available on audible. However, I am GREATLY DISAPOINTED in this version of Choosing Riley. It claims to be unabridged. NOT! It is abridged.

David Brenin's performance was good. However, the story is told from the perspective of Riley StClair, a female, so I did not expect a male reader.
