Historia
Why do women live longer than men? Why do women have menopause? Why are women more likely to get Alzheimer’s? Why do girls score better at every academic subject than boys until puberty, when suddenly their scores plummet? And does the female brain really exist? In Eve, Cat Bohannon answers questions scientists should have been addressing for decades. With boundless curiosity and sharp wit, she covers the past 200 million years to explain the specific science behind the development of the female sex.

It has sold over six million copies worldwide since it was published, and it has the power to change lives.

Perspectives that I needed to hear and know about.
Revisado: 11-19-23
I needed to hear the words contained in this book. I grew up in a culture where women were devalued and their benefits discounted. No wonder the men felt superior and unable to adequately care for them. Hearing about types of abuse, causes, and solutions have provided me with more context into what I thought was normal and what now seems like the problems right in front of me but masked as ‘that’s just how it is’. I urge everyone to give this book a listen men and women because improvement is only a change in behavior.

The best motivational audiobook I’ve listened to.
Revisado: 10-20-23
I’ve listened to a lot of audiobooks on self-improvement, getting financially free, gaining self-esteem and what not and this one has been the best so far. Why? Because it told me things that I’ve never heard said before. It actually encouraged me to look at my problems and try to understand and solve them and then find the value in and outside my life. Other books just wanted to sell me a bunch of feel good stories or use harsh encouragement to say that I wasn’t up to being successful. This book met me where I was and said Hey, you are where you are now because you didn’t know any better. Let me tell you that you can move on now knowing that you can and will do better. It’s up to you to learn why you’re here and how to get where you prefer.
