Great narration, meh story

For a thriller there wasn’t much thrill, there was also a lot of unnecessary detail / side stories that had nothing to do with the plot. It’s an easy listen but I kept hoping there would be a less predictable twist or a reveal that was surprising.

Loved We Were Liars but this fell short

I love We Were Liars but this seemed messy and inconclusive. Half way through the story you discover the "twist" and the rest of the book tries to explain it with very little excitement.
