How My Neighbor Stole Christmas by Meghan Quinn is guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit! Cole is a grinchy grump who hates Christmas, and while Storee isn't thrilled to be in Kringle visiting her aunt, she has so much more holiday spirit than Cole does. They both are entered in the town's holiday competition, which brings out the best and worst in them...and as the competition moves along, as well as some fake dating, the sparks start flying, and fake dating becomes real pretty quickly...and Cole finds the holiday spirit he had been missing for quite some time.

Even if you don't listen to audiobooks or if you haven't tried any before...this is definitely one of those stories that should be listened to. Performed in duet by JF Harding and Vanessa Edwin, with a full cast including Emma Wilder, Robert Hatchet, and Shane East...this audio is just a pure delight to listen to. Hearing the banter at times between JF Harding as Cole and Shane East as the narrator was hilarious, and even though it would have been hilarious reading it on my Kindle, hearing it was even better. The cast was perfect and all of them did an incredible job.

And can I just say...the candy cane scene Meghan has been talking about did not disappoint.

I have enjoyed the first two books of the Haven Brothers series...but Temptation Trails is easily my favorite so far! I absolutely loved everything about Garrett and Harper's story! The suspense, the romance, the entire storyline - there was not one thing I disliked about this story. It hooked me from the very start and I found myself getting lost in the story at every chance I could. The story was truly exceptional and just when I thought I figured out the "who," I found out very quickly I was wrong.

I also really enjoyed the relationship that developed between Harper and Garrett's son, Owen. Those two truly developed a wonderful bond, and that was really sweet to see. Oh, and of course...I won't complain about the Bailey sightings - I just love them.

Narrators can make or break a story...and let me just say, this is a truly memorable audio for me. Listening to this story narrated by the brilliant Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro enhanced the entire story to a whole new level. Both characters were so perfectly suited for these characters and their voices worked together beautifully. Jason's deep and growly tone is always a delight to listen to, and I just love how he moves from one character to the next with such ease. And Rose's voice is just so easy on the ears and every time she said "Oh, sugar cookies," it just made me smile.

I highly recommend this story, and I'm so excited to see what Claire comes up with for whichever Haven brother is up next!

Meghan Quinn never fails to make me laugh when I pick up one of her books, and Bridesmaid Undercover definitely provides plenty of laughs to make me smile. The banter she writes for her characters is always entertaining, and Hardy and Everly had that throughout. Especially in the emails - those were my favorite. And of course, JP Cane and his love of endangered animals. I'll never look at a flamingo and not think of this story.

I only wish the beginning of the story had moved a quicker pace, to get us to more of Everly and Hardy together, not just at the end. Don't get me wrong...I love a slow-burn romance. But with Hardy trying to get with Maple for most of it, it just took some of the steam out of what was building between him and Everly for me. Because when they finally crossed that line, the spice was spicy. And I loved it. And I wanted more of it.

For the narration...Meghan Quinn couldn't have picked better narrators for this story. Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor are two of my favorites, and they did a fantastic job with these characters. They really embodied both Everly and Hardy perfectly and are what made this story more enjoyable for me.

Looking forward to what comes next in the series!

Posey's story does not disappoint!

It's finally time for Levi Posey's story, and it did not disappoint! It was a fitting ending for the Vancouver Agitators series, and Wylie was absolutely for our balogna-loving hockey player! The story had heart, humor, and of course steam. I had a feeling that Posey would be a bit kinky, just because of his personality throughout the series. And Wylie matched his kink on every level. It was also nice to see his friendship with all his teammates' ladies - those text messages cracked me up!

But, I think my favorite part of the whole story was how supportive Posey was with Wylie. He never put her down for the goals she had with her art. He supported her at every step and encouraged her to go after her dreams. It was so refreshing and incredible to see, and it was exactly what Wylie needed in a partner, especially seeing how her dad wasn't that way. That was probably the hardest part of the whole story, seeing how her dad was toward her and all the things he had Levi do. I wish that part had been wrapped up a little sooner, just because I don't think there was enough time at the end for me to truly feel his remorse.

Listening to this story with the full cast that includes Emma Wilder, Teddy Hamilton, J.F. Harding, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, Stella Hunter, Kelsey Navarro-Foster, Erin Mallon, and Vanessa Edwin... having all the different voices for each character made this story more enjoyable. I know I would have enjoyed reading it, but hearing some of the different parts (especially the text threads), it just made those parts even better.

Overall I did really enjoy this story. These characters we've come to know and love will always hold a special place in my heart. The Frozen Fellas and their queens are amazing and they are stories I know I'll read or listen to over and over. Thankfully this won't be the last we'll see of them, even though the series is complete. So glad she introduced OC to this group of lovable characters, and I can't wait to see what Meghan does with the new series for him!

4.75 stars

After the end of the previous Agitators story, I just had a feeling that Meghan wasn't going to make us wait until the end of the series to get Halsey's story. And I'm soooooo glad that she didn't, because I absolutely LOVED He's Not My Type.

If you've read previous books in the series, you know that Halsey has had a crush on Penny's best friend, Blakely, but she had a boyfriend - until now. And when her apartment floods and she needs a place to stay, one of the guys oh-so-nicely offers up Halsey's spare bedroom for her. Which is all the in that Halsey needs. Is it awkward at first? Of course it is. She totally friend-zones him. But eventually the guys (Pacey, Eli, Silas, Levi, and the new guy, OC - who I totally thought was a great addition, oh and Penny, too) come up with the "Break Blakely" plan, to help Halsey land his dream girl.

Of course, there are some hilarious texts (courtesy of Levi) and some other crazy antics that they think will help Halsey get with Blakely...and slowly but surely, things start to change between them and Blakely starts to see Halsey as more than a friend.

And when that happens...WHOA! I mean, whoa. The mouth on this man. I was not prepared for the level of spice between Halsey and Blakely. Cause it just wasn't Halsey. Yes, he had a dirty, dirty mouth, but Blakely gave it just as good as he gave it. There were definitely quite a few scenes that made me blush, which I cannot wait to hear on audio.

But besides the spice...the emotions. Talk about a gut punch at times. My heart hurt so much for Halsey and everything he had gone through. Some of those scenes were so hard to read, but much needed for Halsey so he could finally truly deal with the grief of losing his brother. But seeing how Blakely and the guys were there for him, how family should always be...definitely brought a tear to my eye. He needed to see that he was worth being loved, and every single one of those closest to him proved exactly that. And even though I loved the story, I just wish there had been just a little more with one particular character toward the end.

And after listening to the audiobook too...Connor Crais, Erin Mallon, Teddy Hamilton, Jason Clarke, J.F. Harding, Kelsey Navarro-Foster...they all absolutely crushed their performances! Every single narrator brought so much to this story, that I can't just single out one person. Having more than one female and male narrator really added so much to this story, especially with all the different personalities on the Agitators. It's just SOOOOO good, and it's an absolute must-have audiobook.

Can't wait for the next book in Agitators world to see our bologna-loving Levi Posey get his HEA!

I've been excited to get Maeve's story after getting to know most of her brothers, and although it was a bit of a rocky road, it was wonderful to see her get her happily ever after with the one person in the world who truly loved her unconditionally...and no, it wasn't her husband.

Reiner...this man has a heart of gold and has loved Maeve for as long as he can remember. He's stayed a part of her life, even when she met her husband because she's always been his best friend and he wanted to stay in her life. When a huge, blow-up fight happens between Maeve and her husband and she tells him to leave, he steps in to help her and take care of her three kids. And slowly, over time...Maeve realizes that there is something there between her and Rainer and decides it's something worth exploring. Rainer treats Maeve how she wants to be treated. He does things and helps without being asked. Seriously, Rainer is almost too perfect, but he also knows his worth too.

There's a moment in the story where I wanted to yell at Maeve because girl, what the heck are you thinking? I somewhat understood why she made that choice at the moment, but I also didn't. But this is the moment where I loved Rainer even more.

And if you get a chance to listen to the audio, do it. Robert Hatchet once again voices the hero, and he was absolutely perfect as Rainer. I could just hear the emotion from him during the moments where it was a bit on the heavier side. And Erin Mallon, she was wonderful also as Maeve. You could tell she tapped into her motherly side, because how could she not? Those emotions also came through loud and clear when it was Maeve's POV, and it was one of my favorite narrations of hers.

Storms and Secrets is book two in the Haven Brothers series, and I'm really enjoying getting to know the former enemies of our beloved Bailey brothers. This story features Zachary Haven and Marigold (his sister's best friend)...and mostly romantic suspense, but the rom-com side of it blends beautifully with the story Claire has created for these two characters. Marigold has always had a crush on Zachary, but it isn't until he almost electrocutes himself trying to fix something at her shop that he realizes that there's something more he'd like to explore with Marigold. She had just accepted a date with someone she had recently met, so that complicated his plans. Interwoven in all of this is the suspense/mystery aspect of the storyline, which definitely kept me on the edge of my seat to see how it was all going to play out.

Marigold was voiced by the talented Samantha Brentmoor, and she truly encapsulated who Marigold is. I haven't found a story she's narrated that I haven't loved yet.

Teddy Hamilton brings Zachary to life, and his voice is the perfect choice for Zachary. He's able to bring out the mischievous side of Zachary that was so evident in the character, as well as just that confident side that the character had. I just can't think of anyone else who would have been able to bring the character to life in the same way.

And then we have Desiree Ketchum as Brielle, who plays an essential role in the mystery/suspense side of the story. She gives life to a character that isn't in the main role, but one that I hope maybe later in the series she can reprise so she can get her ultimate HEA.

Overall, this was an entertaining read that kept me engaged with the story from start to finish. Excited to see which brother comes next!

A small-town, second-chance romance delight!

I really love the Wilder Valley series from Kacey Shea, and I was so excited to be back in this world again in Wild Love! It's a small-town, second-chance romance delight, that I absolutely enjoyed...and is so far my favorite of the series!

Wilder and Simone spent one hot night together many years ago and had that instant connection between them and hoped to stay in touch, but things didn't work out the way they had hoped. Fast forward twenty-three years, and during a vacation to Arizona, Simone walks into a store and gets the surprise of her life. Wild is there and she recognizes him, but he doesn't recognize her - and is a total jerk to her. When he goes to apologize, she gives him a fake name...and when he asks her out, she gives him a fake name (of her best friend)...and things take off from there. She still doesn't reveal her true identity right away...and the more time that passes, the more difficult it becomes for her to share the truth with him until it inadvertently comes out at an inopportune time.

There is also quite an emotional component to the story, with the reason as to why Wilder is home after all these years, that packs quite the punch...but it also helps to mend the reasons why he's stayed away all these years and provides some much-needed healing for Wilder.

I'm really glad I was able to listen to this one in audio because I could just feel the connection between Wilder and Simone even more because hearing the characters be brought to life by the amazing Maxine Mitchell and Robert Hatchet... these two brought this story to a whole new level. You could feel the emotion oozing out of both of them that connected you to the story and the characters. And then the songs...even if you don't listen to audiobooks, you need this one, just so you can hear those beautiful lyrics being sung by Robert Hatchet.

Highly recommend this beautiful and emotional love story! And I'll be looking forward to the next trip to Wilder Valley!

Behind His Eyes by Claire Kingsley is a sweet and sexy romance that I really enjoyed! It's a quick and steamy story for Ryan and Nicole, childhood friends who reconnect as adults. Ryan has always had a crush on Nicole, and now that she's back in Jetty Beach, he finally has his chance to be with his dream girl. But will the secrets he's hiding from her push her away?

I've both read it and now listened to the audio, and Jacob Morgan and Samantha Brentmoor were the perfect choices to bring both Ryan and Nicole to life! I could just feel the emotion from both narrators and I got completely swept up in the story because of how they read the author's words.

J. Saman has created some characters that are irresistible to resist... and Callan and Layla - after reading their story - have become some of my all-time favorite characters! These two balanced each other out so perfectly, that I don't know how anyone reading this story couldn't fall in love with either of them.

Callan - his life was completely upended after becoming his niece's guardian. But you could tell before that how much he loved her and would do anything to protect her. He truly cared about her best interests - which was one of the sexiest things about him. And Layla, she knew how to relate to Katy on a level that Callan could never reach. There truly was a reason why she walked to his table that night at the bar, not only to be in Callan's life but to be a support for Katy.

And then, of course, the chemistry between Callan and Layla......these two had it from the get-go. From that first night they were together, to the night she worked on that case study (seriously, how hot was that?!?!)... the sparks were flying every moment they were together!

And of course, how could I not mention the rest of his crew - Zax, Greyson, Asher, and Lenox. I love the deep bonds and friendships they all have with one another, and how they have each other's backs, ready to fight or help whenever one of them needs it. They all stepped up big time for Callan in this one, without him even asking, as they all just know what to do or say when one of them is struggling.

If you're a fan of audiobooks... Lee Samuels and Lucy Rivers are nailing their performances as Callan and Layla! This is actually my first time listening to Lee, and his voice is spot-on of what I could have imagined Callan to sound like. And the raspiness and unique tone of Lucy's voice gives an edge and sassiness to the character that is totally Layla. Plus, listening to those spicy moments and not just reading them brings those scenes to a whole new level.

Seriously, this story is just so, so good! Whether it's on audio or on your Kindle, this is one story you don't want to miss out on!
