Historia
Not every danger comes in the form of a mega-threat like a Titan. Some predators are a lot cozier...more personal. When one such creature threatens an independent tutor, Harry Dresden must shake off the blood and dirt of his most recent battles and rise to the occasion, even when it turns out that the new predator is far more dangerous and connected than first appearances would suggest.

butcher was great my problem was with Bob the skul
Revisado: 08-06-22
okay I thought butcher did a great job my only problem was with the voice of Bob it sounded like a cartoon from Looney Tunes character or something it was very distracting and the thing I've always loved about Bob is his elegance and he's a lovely foil for you know for the wizard but the way the voice is in this book it's just gradingly Goofy other than that it was great.

some of the decisions to heroin made were ?
Revisado: 06-14-21
I enjoyed the book it had great action and I'm a sucker for a happy ending. My biggest complaint is that the heroine was an idiot occasionally which did not really make me like her very much some obvious flaws like poisoning the family and then poisoning her allies for no apparent reason made me think she was a moron.

Historia
To save my son, I would give up my soul. To survive this journey and stop those who face us, I may have to do just that. My son is waiting for me to bring him home, to rescue him from the horrors he’s faced on his own. I won’t take the chance to find him only to fail him again. Which means I must unearth a way to kill his captor, a man who is immortal. A man who made a deal with the devil to attain his power. As it stands, there is only one way to end that monster’s life.

Historia
When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

Kim Harrison before she learn how to write well.
Revisado: 02-13-20
I love Kim Harrison. So I purchase this series and enjoyed the first one. However. It doesn't move very fast has slow self-indulgent mental ramblings of the heroine which seemed weak and kind of pathetic. . I much prefer her later heroines. They're much stronger. . That being said there were some good moments in the book and the overall story line is good.

Historia
A woman disappears on her way to work. A man is convicted of her murder. But this case is different. Though the police believe they have the right man, key components of the prosecution case are missing. There is no body of the victim, no witnesses to the crime, no confession and no physical evidence: no DNA, CCTV or murder weapon.

A body of proof...leaves you unsatisfied
Revisado: 09-14-19
this could have been a good read but there is no resolution at the end which is hugely disappointing after listening to all the evidence it never takes you to any resolution it just leaves you hanging with the guy in jail you have no idea what happened if anything. Which is frustrating after struggling to understand what they're saying half the time. the two main readers do great but they seem to feel a need to have David coming across as a realistic phone conversation instead of having him intelligible ..between his Scottish brogue and the scratchy sounds on the phone I couldn't hear anything he said so I missed a lot of information but by far the most disappointing was the lack of resolution.. Audible has had some great originals but this is not one of them I do not recommend anyone waste their time with this one.
