Historia
As the daughter of a drug dealer, Wavy knows not to trust people, not even her own parents. It's safer to keep her mouth shut and stay out of sight. Struggling to raise her little brother, Donal, eight-year-old Wavy is the only responsible adult around. Obsessed with the constellations, she finds peace in the starry night sky above the fields behind her house until one night her stargazing causes an accident. After witnessing his motorcycle wreck, she forms an unusual friendship with one of her father's thugs, Kellen, a tattooed ex-con with a heart of gold.

The narrator was good
Revisado: 01-18-25
It was ok. Not great. I liked how the characters were well described, you feel like you understand them.

Historia
In Red Leaves, Edgar Award-winning author Thomas H. Cook pens a compelling tale of suspicion and its corrosive effects on a family. When a little girl is missing on the morning after his teenaged son baby-sits for her, Eric Moore watches his world crumble as suspicion falls on his son. Although Eric hires a lawyer to prepare his son’s defense, a haunting thought slithers into his mind. What if he has been nurturing a monstrous fiend?

Enjoyed this audible book very much. Loved how the feelings of the narrarator were described so well. Kept me in suspense most of the book and great twist! Excellent narrarator also.

Loved this book. Didn’t want it to end.
Revisado: 05-01-23
I loved the story…very unique plot and not predictable. I really enjoyed the truths that Loralee put into her journal. Such wise words. I was hopeful that there was a companion pink journal I could download! I also thought that the narrator did a fantastic job. So easy to listen to. I didn’t realize this was an older book. So glad I found it and I will be looking for more books by this author and more rad by this narrator.
