Bones is back to tell you his side of what happened when he spent four long years looking for Cat, the half vampire now known as the “Red Reaper.” But now that he’s found her, has time hardened Bones too much to risk love again? your killing me
Revisado: 08-13-23
seriously, I have every book, and this just makes me want more. I NEED Annettes story, Juan's, and all the others. I'm dying here.
That said, I'm sorry I'm becoming a rabid fan. I know you can't just put out books as you must take meal breaks, rest breaks, and bathroom breaks not to mention living your life.
One story is just so many as it touches lives of other characters. I'll be looking forward to more, thanks.

Historia
Almost every culture on Earth has drink, and where there's drink there's drunkenness. But in every age and in every place drunkenness is a little bit different. It can be religious, it can be sexual, it can be the duty of kings or the relief of peasants. It can be an offering to the ancestors, or a way of marking the end of a day's work. It can send you to sleep, or send you into battle. Making stops all over the world, A Short History of Drunkenness traces humankind's love affair with booze from our primate ancestors through to the 20th century.

Historia
Nehemiah, the young son of a Jewish woman, a weaver from Jerusalem, is born and raised among the Jews who didn't return to Jerusalem from the Exile. Educated by Rabbi Kagba, one of the magi present at Jesus' birth thirty years earlier, Nehemiah grows up with the expectation of a soon-coming Messiah. Could the Yeshua of Nazareth, who is walking the earth, reportedly doing miracles, be that Messiah? When young Nehemiah must travel the long caravan road to Jerusalem, he is charged with an unusual mission...

Historia
At least one-third of the people we know are introverts. They are the ones who prefer listening to speaking; who innovate and create but dislike self-promotion; who favor working on their own over working in teams. It is to introverts—Rosa Parks, Chopin, Dr. Seuss, Steve Wozniak—that we owe many of the great contributions to society.

it resonated with me.
Revisado: 04-12-18
Social environments have always been difficult for me. I am ADD. I am sensitive. my senses always seem to hyperactive. I'm coming to understand the complexity of how my genetics and environment and why I have depression. Many people think I'm an extrovert. I've faked it for years. I'm so tired. I've had illnesses that have no outlining causes.
I'm giving myself time and permission to be the introvert I am. This book makes me realize how important that is. I think teachers and parents should read this book. I think it is important to understand difference in people, students, kids, humans.

loved the humor, violence, and intense passion
Revisado: 10-09-16
She takes and adds humor to everything, love that. the violence is brutal but a chuckle behind it. . the intense passion isn't just sex but humor and comradeship.
hate writing reviews cause I like them short and sweet or a bitter hateful tirade .
Ok now I'm just trying to get to twenty words. .

Historia
The idea of a powerful woman in the Middle Ages seems like an oxymoron. Females in this time are imagined to be damsels in distress, trapped in a high tower, and waiting for knights to rescue them, all while wearing traffic-cones for a hat. After rescue, their lives improved little. Their career choices were to be either docile queens, housewives, or be burned at the stake for witchcraft. But what if this image of medieval women is a complete fiction? It turns out that it is. Powerful female rulers fill the Middle Ages.
