The storyline and the book was very good. I absolutely love the Ceres however wish they would have stayed with the original narrator from the beginning.

Change with narrator

I hated the new narrator in this series. Throughout the entire storyline we had one narrator and we got to know the characters based on that person's interpretation.
Now all of the voices have changed and I had to deal with Claire sounding like a boy and Eve sounding like a ditzy girl. The interpretation for Mernan Was just painful to hear.
I can only hope that this book be re narrated By the original Person. I love the seres but I don't like the change in narration

Seemed like an afterthought

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book seemed like an after thought for the series, but a definite must read in order to move on to book 6

What other book might you compare First Drop of Crimson to and why?

Twice Tempted. This book gives you the story of Spade and Denise, 2 notable characters who find each other again after a terrible vampire war that kills Denise's husband

Have you listened to any of Tavia Gilbert’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love this Narrator, she acts out the voices and is very animated with her reading. I really enjoy her narrations

Not really an extreme reaction to the book but I did love that Denise and Spade were able to find each other again

The narrator for this series is absolutely one of the most entertaining readers I have ever experienced. I loved each and every book. The author writes great books and Tavia Gilbert is an excellent narrator.

The Dark Series is one of my favorites

If you could sum up Dark Slayer in three words, what would they be?

Suspenseful, addicting, intoxicating

What did you like best about this story?

I loved Ivory's courage and devotion to her wolves. I loved Rasvan and his honor. Put these 2 warriors together and you have nothing short of pure magic.

What does Phil Gigante and Jane Brown bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The ease of listening to a book no matter where I am and what I'm doing

Christine Feehan's Dark series are some of the best story lines I have had the privledge to read. I absolutely love her books and look forward to every new one she writes.
