Historia
A sobering and fascinating study on war in the modern era, Unrestricted Warfare carefully explores strategies that militarily and politically disadvantaged nations might take in order to successfully attack a geopolitical super-power like the United States. American military doctrine is typically led by technology; a new class of weapon or vehicle is developed, which allows or encourages an adjustment in strategy. Military strategists Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui argue that this dynamic is a crucial weakness in the American military.

Required Reading
Revisado: 09-29-24
Gets very very wordy in the latter half of the book. Seemed repetitive as well. But remember this wasn’t a US book by 2 Chinese generals how to destroy your adversary. A warning document that virtually all nations have ignored already. Ignorance has consequences.

Description and flow
Revisado: 06-28-24
I love how she takes time to describe what is seen, smelled, touched, tasted, and thought by the characters. She is good at creating atmosphere. The only thing I dislike are the antagonist in the story, what you're supposed to dislike them.

A wake up call
Revisado: 03-20-24
Overall, I thought this is a really interesting book. Some real interesting perspectives, new information I didn’t know some of which I didn’t know. It does get a little wordy and repetitive in places. A couple places I thought I was listening the same thing over again so he does definitely repeat himself I think. But overall good read very informative highly recommend and highly recommend people start localizing getting involvedsupporting their local farms, farmers and getting involved in local politics to govern and run local resources

Historia
Throughout the world, mental capacity is declining, especially among young people, while depression rates are rising dramatically. Meanwhile, one in forty men and women suffers from Alzheimer's, and the age of onset is falling rapidly. But the causes are not being eliminated, quite the opposite. Can this just be coincidence? The Indoctrinated Brain introduces a largely unknown, powerful neurobiological mechanism whose externally induced dysfunction underlies these catastrophic developments.

Historia
Ordinary Men is the true story of Reserve Police Battalion 101 of the German Order Police, which was responsible for mass shootings as well as round-ups of Jewish people for deportation to Nazi death camps in Poland in 1942. Browning argues that most of the men of RPB 101 were not fanatical Nazis but, rather, ordinary middle-aged, working-class men who committed these atrocities out of a mixture of motives, including the group dynamics of conformity, deference to authority, role adaptation, and the altering of moral norms to justify their actions.

Not a Feel Good Book
Revisado: 11-05-23
Mass killing biographical histories can never truly be enjoyable. This book is no less, but reflects the dehumanizing of races and human beings. It’s easy to see this repeated throughout history again and again and we’ll see it yet again in the future.. Humanity is fundamentally fallen and sinful and capable of atrocities such as this with no hope but Christ and personal salvation in order that one’s sinful nature can be conquered and such murdering mindsets cease.

Human history is full of the stories of peasants, subjects, and tribes. Yet the concept of the “citizen” is historically rare — and was among America’s most valued ideals for over two centuries. But without shock treatment, warns historian Victor Davis Hanson, American citizenship as we have known it may soon vanish.

Historia
Since 1933, when a completely drugged and trial-conditioned human wreck confessed to having started the Reichstag fire in Berlin, Dr. Joost A. M. Meerloo has studied the methods by which systematic mental pressure brings people to abject submission, and by which totalitarians imprint their subjective "truth" onto their victims' minds. And in The Rape of the Mind, he goes far beyond the direct military implications of mental torture to describing how our own culture unobtrusively shows symptoms of pressurizing people's minds.

This originally published 1956 couldn’t be anymore applicable today in 2023. We’re living in totally Totalitaria. Had this, and it should have been, part of mainstay educational class required reading and study we might have a different society. But then again that’s not what the educational system is all about these days and quite the contrary of what this book teaches.

Historia
When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity. Cloning, feel-good drugs, anti-aging programs, and total social control through politics, programming, and media: has Aldous Huxley accurately predicted our future? With a storyteller's genius, he weaves these ethical controversies in a compelling narrative that dawns in the year 632 A.F. (After Ford, the deity). When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity.
