great book. easy to get caught up in the drama. loved it. author is one of my favorite writers because no foul language or unnecessary sex scenes. just an awesome read.

UPDATE: finally got the book dl. except for the constant proselytizing it was an awesome story. The not very subtle masking mandate and vaccine pushing was distracting. The story could have lightly touched on those subjects and then gone on. It would have been a much better listen. I don't buy books to be indoctrinated, I buy them for entertainment.

my download keeps failing and I can't play past the first few chapters. sigh. give up and return the book? or keep trying.

An excellent read

Action is a little slow in the beginning but it feels more natural than the world going to pieces in 24 hours. Very little profanity if any at all. Not full of ugly sex imagery and faith is apparent throughout the book.
I think I've found my next favorite author.

This is the first shtf book that the world fell apart due to things we are experiencing this past year. Far more believable because of this fact. Scary.

It is amazing to read a book that could stand alone yet brings in the other series so well. I enjoyed how the characters popped up in this story. great book with no profanity. I can listen to Mr. Abraham's books and not be embarrassed by the language.

another good military read

I enjoy reading military stories when the author obviously knows the 'language's as WJ does. Nothing ruins a gread read than finding large mistakes in terms etc. waiting to read more of his books with great eagerness.
