I like this book and can't wait for the next one. It was nice to listen to a book where the main character wasn't the suspect. I loved the narrator's voice, the plot, and the ending.

Great listen

Stand By Your Man was a great listen. This is the third book in the series; why I listened to book three after listening to book two is beyond me. There was nothing I can say that is positive about book two. Book three was fun to listen to; the characters were interesting and likable, the story had some good twists, and the narrator was fantastic. Unfortunately, all the other books are only three hours long.

Great Listen

Mike Lupica is continuing the Jesse stone series with the foresight to develop Jesse into a recovering, kind, force to be reconded with, Chief of Police. This story brought up present-day issues; that Jesse had to deal with, in addition to small-town living with grace and style. I thought the ending was great for the amount of tragedy the town went through. I even had some OMGs along the way. Thanks for an excellent read.

Difficult listening to the new narrator

The story was excellent, however, the new narrator made listening to the story difficult. Sara Young read the women's voices ok; the men's voices sounded fake.

Great listen

I don't write many reviews, however, I really liked this book. It had the basic plot of a cozy murder, yet the characters were unique, the plot was compelling, and I wish there were twenty books to listen to instead of 2 (so far).

Spy to Teacher

I have read quite a few of the reviews and I was surprised to see the word "boring". I didn't think the book was boring at all... real life isn't always exciting, it's a path we travel and hopefully we grow. I felt her pain and frustration going from the CIA to the FBI, expecting the elevator to keep going up, instead, it took a turn she didn't like. I loved her strength and willingness not to give up, and her cool temperament not snapping back.....that is what I call a real hero, and someone I admire. I am glad Tracy found her passion...

I Love This Series

Please keep these books coming. Lainie is quite the character, she is my hero. Her no-nonsense attitude is refreshing. I get really tired of women in books that make decisions that no sane woman would make.

I really liked this book. Glad One was interesting and fun. The characters were very likable, and I felt like I was there with them. I didn't know how it was going to end until the very last minute, except who the murderer was. I hope another audible comes out soon.
