Returning to the Verdant Green Waters sect over a decade after his exile, Wu Ying finds his position and place within the Sect in flux. Strong enough to be an Elder but not having achieved his rank via the normal methods, he has jealous and worried rivals to contend with. It is reminiscent of his own past, but now, he's an Elder and able to enact transformation in a broader sense. Wu Ying must find his own place in the sect or leave it once and for all. The cultivation wounds he received in the south trouble him, and it will require time and resources - resources the Sect is able to provide.

Travis B is the Goat and loved he had time to record book 10. I would enjoy him reading the phone book. Liked very much the return home story to meet the parents and seeing old friends.

Very unusual book in the end I liked it

When I started listening to the book i honestly struggled. The nartation is not bad, the written word is not bad. Little corny. Putting both together i was initially disappointed. Some where during the listen I started to enjoy the book. However when I started reading post this book I enjoyed it more.

Over 1300 audio books in my library. Lately been running into a lot of duds. Look forward to the next book. Don't get me wrong I have read or listened to many books this year I would have given a 1 or 2 to. This is not such a book.

Worth a credit. Well written. I have approxm1300 audio books and counting. Many I just could not publish a review. More a don't bother to publish a review that could harm type of guy. Will definitely buy book 2.

Really enjoyed this next installment of probably my top 3 series in this genre. I have recently gotten bored reading / listening to Xianxia / Western cultivation were the protagonists are sociopaths. Travis Baldree is the reason I had found Tao Wong thru listening thru his other works. This series and Beware of Chicken is my go to to for a re listen when I cannot find something to add to my over 1,000 audiobook library.
