First Cormac McCarthy book I did not finish.

As someone who thinks Cormac McCarthy is one of the best authors I have ever read, I was disappointed with this book. I am reluctant to criticize the author because he is one of my favorites, but this book seemed to me to be a series of beautifully written character studies that had little cohesion as a story. Variety is the spice, and I'm sure I am in a minority as one who did not care for this particular book.

Excellent learning experience.

This is a very well structured approach to becoming more adept in Spanish. Different than traditional courses, it goes into dialog quickly and fairly effortlessly. If you have some Spanish language background I think the course would be very helpful and will move your Spanish comprehension in a very positive direction.

Another masterpiece by the master

Wonderful book that started in an interesting way and then evolved into a phenomenal story. Margaret Atwood has an imagination that is beautifully unique and this story displays it perfectly.

Very interesting book. It took me a little time to get the drift of the story line, but once I did, I really enjoyed the book. Excellent writing from the imagination of a master story teller.

This a fantastic book that starts as a girl’s experience in an English boarding school and evolves into an amazing comment on the use of genetics in a possible future. Very well written and performed, surprising in many aspects.

I absolutely loved this. Performed in an excellent voice that fit perfectly with the story. The author has an incredible imagination to weave such a masterpiece.

Murakami never fails to amaze.

Another great book by a master. I never tire of his amazing ability to spin a tale with realism and fantasy are combined in such an interesting fashion. Performed very well. A great listen that I would recommend to anyone.

And you thought racism didn't exist in the future.

If this were a cup of tea, it would not be for me. A future with a thousand worlds that all have a white town where everyone is light skinned and wealthy, and down the road a dark town where everyone is darker skinned and poor.
The multiverse is only mentioned passingly, while the daily toil of being a minority is delved into at every turn. I couldn't make it through the second chapter.

Fascinating Collection of Stories

Beautifully written group of stories that intertwine to make a fascinating book. Nicely read by the narrator to give an easy listing experience. Many stories stand alone , while others pop up unexpectedly time and again. I absolutely loved the book and admire the mind that could imagine it.
