This is such a lovely story about love, determination, and the power of the written word. Veteran Will Bryant is living out his final chapter in life with his grandson when a stranger (a recently divorced broken young women) moves into a home that needs as much TLC as they all do. The house has a secret and is ready to share it with Adrienne, once she learns it she will not rest until life as they all know it has come full circle. Such a fantastical story, narration is perfect!!

I liked the book- looking back it was a little drawn out but I think it had to be in order to understand the full narrative. I loved the characters and especially the brother sister relationship. Spend the credit on this novel and the following trilogy by Dee Davis.

If you’re wondering if you should purchase this book do not hesitate to use the credit for book 13 written by our favorite author Bethany Claire and narrated by Lilly Collingwood. There is nothing slow about this book but it takes just enough time to fall in love with the new characters and visit with the old. There are plot twist and exciting adventures in this new novel that we have all been waiting for. I have always been a Ardent admirer of books written by Diane Gabeldon and thought I would give these try a couple years ago because I enjoyed the leap into Time Travel (pun intended). I did not realize how much I would fall in love with this time traveling crazy witch that we all know and love named Morn-a.
While these books are not like the Outlander Series (except Time Traveling) they are in effect a LOL adventure that will make you glad for the purchase and a series you can listen to over and over again. There is romance in these stores but it is not trashy, the men may not be believable but it is fiction. Your gonna love this one. These books are best to be read as a series but can stand alone.

Could use a little more of a story line

The book was good and the narrator was fab. as always, but, I wish there was more of a story line as the other Garwood novels. Her history was well done and her decriptions were great but I wish there was a little more twist and turns as in previous reads. It was kind of predictable. I wouldnt of missed the book because Garwood and Flosnik are 2 of my favorites but with as long as it was there could of been more to the book. Still worth getting and a decent price.
