Historia
This is a book about common sense—what it is, how to make it, and how to put it into practice across all contexts of leadership and life. It's also a book of stories from my leadership journey across continents, cultures, and contexts (e.g., combat, business, and government). In this book, you’ll learn what I learned and what many other common-sense leaders across the ages have learned before us.

Freudian placebo doublespeak. But placebos work.
Revisado: 07-11-22
This is clearly the placebo effect and she subconsciously projects a good deal of her own beliefs into her description of the chakras

Historia
Everyone needs to love and be loved - even men. But to know love, men must be able to look at the ways that patriarchal culture keeps them from knowing themselves, from being in touch with their feelings, from loving. In The Will to Change, bell hooks gets to the heart of the matter and shows men how to express the emotions that are a fundamental part of who they are - whatever their age, marital status, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

Great message, illuminating, but repetitive.
Revisado: 07-07-21
The message is great: men have a tremendous amount to gain by re learning how to feel and love. The execution is very repetitive and tends to victimize men too much in my opinion. I'm glad I read this, but doing so became a chore at some points.
