Historia
Dalinar Kholin's Alethi armies won a fleeting victory at a terrible cost. The enemy Parshendi summoned the violent Everstorm, which now sweeps the world with destruction and in its passing awakens the once peaceful and subservient parshmen to the horror of their millennia-long enslavement by humans. While on a desperate flight to warn his family of the threat, Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with the fact that the newly kindled anger of the parshmen may be wholly justified.

What does it mean to earn the silver oakleaf? So few men have done so. For Will, a mere boy, that symbol of honor has long felt out of reach. Now, in the wake of Araluen's uneasy truce with the raiding Skandians comes word that the Skandian leader has been captured by a dangerous desert tribe. The Rangers are sent to free him. But the desert is like nothing these warriors have seen before. Strangers in a strange land, they are brutalized by sandstorms, beaten by the unrelenting heat, tricked by one tribe that plays by its own rules, and surprisingly befriended by another.

Historia
Like Daniel in Babylon, Christians today are exiles in a hostile culture. Every day, we face the lions—the easier road of moral compromise, the lure of earthly wealth and influence, the temptation to give into our fears or our apathy. Yet we are called to obey God rather than man, and we need courage to do it. Award-winning apologist Ray Comfort wants to help you develop the fortitude to look into the mouths of lions without flinching, trusting that God will not only bring you to the other side of the trial but that he is refining you through it.

I’ve listened to these books over 100 times and they never get old. The voice acting is one of the best I’ve ever heard in a narrated book. James Harriet was a wonderful veterinary surgeon and we could learn a lot about animals and people from these heartwarming books.

This series continues to provide laughter and joy reading and listening to is 5 star also considering the actor from the show series also narrated the books so elegantly in fact I can imagine the facial expressions and mannerisms. It’s on point and I’m glad to have the whole series on audible. Highly recommend for any vet or medical professional or family of medical professionals.

Historia
Sometimes in medicine the only way to know what is truly going on in a patient is to operate, to look inside with one's own eyes. This book is exploratory surgery on medicine itself, laying bare a science not in its idealized form but as it actually is - complicated, perplexing, and profoundly human.

This book provides the necessary answers and insights into medical school, residency, fellowship, and medical practice.
Doctors as a whole are very good at what hey do, the bad ones are the ones we read about in the news, not the good ones.

Great book
Revisado: 08-03-15
It reads like an old comic book, 1st person perspective from David. A charming protagonist who's humor will make anyone smile. The antagonist steel heart is so evil you will want him gone too.
This is a book to have extra copies of. I share them with friends and family. It's short, and a page turner, like all of Sanderson's books.
