Historia
Tracy Flick wants to be President of Winwood High. She’s one of those ambitious girls who finds time to do it all: edit the yearbook, star in the musical, sleep with her English teacher. But another teacher, staunch idealist Jim McAllister, a.k.a. “Mr. M.,” thinks the students deserve better. So he persuades Paul Warren—a well-liked, good-hearted jock—to throw in his hat. But that puts Paul’s sister Tammy in a snit. So she runs too, on an apathy platform, before starting a real campaign...to get herself kicked out of school.

Not worth anything
Revisado: 08-23-23
What's this? I didn't like the plot and especially the ending. it feels like the author just wanted to complete the necessary number of pages to pass as a book.

A gamut of emotional roller coaster.
Revisado: 04-10-23
This book was well researched and gave me another perspective of how women played meaningful roles in WW II. The parallel love story of Mat and Caroline added to the aghast and delightful combination of darkness and light. I was crying and smiling at the same time. I will listen to this audio book again.

Emotional

I normally stay away from war stories but this was so well written that I couldn't put it down. It's a story of love, resilience, bravery, ingenuity and roles women play in the war. I highly recommend the book and of course this audio book just totally reinforced my enjoyment. Everything was superbly done.
