Historia
Seventeen-year-old Maddie has always felt a hole in her life, but she has finally found a way to fill it with her quest to mold her body into her ideal, thinnest shape. When she comes across the world of “thinspiration” websites, where young people encourage each other in their mission to lose weight, she quickly becomes addicted. Finally, she has found a place where she is understood and where she can belong.

actually written by an anorexic

I've read few ED books I actually related too. I thought Liane's portrayal was realistic and touching, especially the sort of psychosis and delusional thinking you encounter without even knowing it. The integration of IP and her ED developing made for an interesting and engaging pace, and I think her online friends were VERY similar to how it feels to have that sort of community. The main character's fears are palpable and realistic, and the small things, like her throwing out her report card, were very realistic to the kind of behavioral changes an anorexic experiences. I can't imagine not liking this, unless you didn't experience anorexia spaces online from 2000-2016. Genuinely up there with Wasted, Skin, Stick Figure, and Thin Girls to me! My only qualm is the voice actress being instructed to say "said" after every username, which isn't the author's fault!
