Wow!!! Another one you can't stop listening to till it's finished! Venn was retired from the military and getting bored after two years and starting on the third year. He inherited money from a deceased uncle and had to get married quickly once he found out he had to be married by 30 years old or his inheritance would revert to a charity. He ordered a mail order bride from Terra-Mates. No one least of all Venn could've known what was coming his way. Emmy was an archeologist and worked with her mentor, Morley. They were in a race to find a ladle that had healing powers. Abel wanted to keep the ladle for his own collection. He sent men after Emmy once Morley was gone to kidnap and use her to find the treasure. Emmy talked Venn's real bride to be into selling her a ticket to escape Abels men. As soon as Venn saw Emmy he knew his life would never be the same. This book is filled with excitement, adventure and romance. This is an honest review in exchange for an ARC. Can't wait for the next one from Lisa Lace, my favorite author!

The Love story of Kai Imwaden and Jennifer Carden

A war between three planets, Earth, Anquera and Similicue. Jenn meets Kai thru Terra Mates when a treaty is needed between their planets to end the longtime war between the planets. Kai is to chose one of the women brought along but dives into a closet to avoid the women. It happens to be the same closet Jenn is hiding in. She needed the money but didn't really want to be chosen. Her dishonest husband on earth forged documents and took all the money in her trust fund. She didn't find out until Anton's real wife of ten years showed up after another man showed up wanting money Anton owed him. Desperate she applied to Terra Mates. There is a connection between Jenn and Kai from the first as he recognizes her as his Sindare. Intrigue, mystery, Romance and corrupt actions by all three of the governments involved in the war will keep you captivated and turning the pages of this book till you have finished reading. This is an honest review in exchange for an ARC in Audible and book copy. Lisa Lace is my favorite author and every new book I read becomes my favorite.

Terra Mates story of Airik and Quinn

This is an unusual and creative story from Lisa Lace of a HEA romance of two Precogs (people who see visions of coming events, deaths, etc.)
Quinn is bullied, threatened and hunted on Earth because of her psychic abilities (visions) especially from a religious cult who believes she is a witch. The cult wants to burn her alive with fire. Her father who has protected her and moved her in the dark of night because of the cult is at wits end as to what to do when Quinn becomes unconscious from a dart filled with drugs to knock her out by the cult as she runs to the police station in Orlando. Her fathers friend suggests Terra Mates Mail Order Brides to help her get off the planet. She is unaware the cult has members in other galaxies and on other planets. She travels to the planet, Koccoran and gets married to Airik Buhari. For awhile she keeps her psychic abilities from Airik fearing she'll be bullied and persecuted here too. She is also unaware Airik has visions too and that she is on a planet of Precogs who have visions and advance ways to use them. If you like adventure, suspense and angst in a romance BUY the book, to hear the rest of the story. This is an honest review in exchange for an ARC.

Terra-Mates story of Eden and Thiago.....

Eden lives on Earth but loses her job because of a "grabby" customer. She goes to Terra Mates where she agrees to a marriage to an alien for a year for credits to help her younger sister through school. While being interviewed she is drugged and taken off planet where she becomes part of an "alien auction" as a special collection. She has been bought by Thiago Arris who's mother was human and father an alien. Thiago is a "bounty hunter". This is a must read if you like action with romance and a HEA ending. This is a honest review in exchange for an ARC copy. Loved this book.

An alien from a water world marries a human.......

Where does Water World Confidential: A SciFi Alien Mail Order Bride Romance rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really liked this story of Jordi and Samantha. Jordi kept a lot of secrets from his family......especially the fact that he was recruited by his home world government to be a secret agent tracking down a child trafficking ring. I rated it higher than other audible titles I have read. It was so good.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jordi was my favorite character. He was so good at acting out his cover story of being an uncaring and arrogant person. He was conflicted in his earlier feelings for Samantha. He started to care more about her as she became involved in "His Secret Life". She helped him and saved him.

Which scene was your favorite?

The scene where she had to crawl through the little tunnel all by herself to bring help to Jordi. It takes a lot of guts and stamina to overcome our fears. She was the heroine to Jordi's Hero.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Oh yes. It became more and more intriguing as Samantha became involved in Jordi's true life.

Any additional comments?

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good SciFi or Alien or Spy story. Can't wait to see what is the next book from my favorite author, Lisa Lace.

Where does Water World Warrior rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the first audiobook I have listened to. I was fairly impressed how the narrators really got into the book.

What other book might you compare Water World Warrior to and why?

I like sci-fi alien romances. It'd be hard to compare books since they each have their own merits and different authors have different writing styles.

What about Addison Spear and Terrance Bayes ’s performance did you like?

They were pretty convincing as Ashlyn and Nathaniel. It was like a movie but without sight.
Like when you're a kid and your parents read you a story at bedtime.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did love the part where Ashlyn had stowed away and Followed Nat around. Then on the way back to the ship Nathaniel caught and confronted her.

I hope to get the chance to review more of Lisa Laces sci-fi romances. She's an author I'll be looking out for new books.
