interesting story telling from the authors.

this is an interesting story retold by Jocasta or her point of view. it is entertaining and worth listening to if you like mythology with a present day dialogue. The narrator did well. I would have preferred a little more classical English reading. But it didn't stop me from enjoying the book.

Consistently Amazing!
Revisado: 11-02-19
I have read many of BC’s novels, including the “Sharpe” books, and others. This series “The Last Kingdom” is my favorite of all novels of the genre. It is amazingly written. The story captivates and draws you into the era and the country to the point where you feel you know the characters personally. The action scenes are the most mesmerizing and so well written that I feel like I am a part of each betrayal battle conflict conquest. Thank you BC for using the written word to carry us through these amazing adventures with our protagonist(s). Uhtred Go Brach!

Historia
The story is seen through the eyes of Uhtred, a dispossessed nobleman, who is captured as a child by the Danes and then raised by them so that, by the time the Northmen begin their assault on Wessex, Alfred's kingdom and the last territory in English hands, Uhtred almost thinks of himself as a Dane.
