Historia
As David Brooks observes, “There is one skill that lies at the heart of any healthy person, family, school, community organization, or society: the ability to see someone else deeply and make them feel seen—to accurately know another person, to let them feel valued, heard, and understood.” And yet we humans don’t do this well. All around us are people who feel invisible, unseen, misunderstood. In How to Know a Person, Brooks sets out to help us do better, posing questions that are essential for all of us: If you want to know a person, what kind of attention should you cast on them?

Another Brilliant insightful book by David Brooks
Revisado: 07-06-24
David Brooks is an authentic and humble man. His gift of writing is apparent as he instills insights and meaning to every chapter of this book. David provides clear example of life lessons that are not taught in school or by most parents today. Although a talented writer, he does not produce prose to impress, he writes to teach valuable lessons we all need to apply for a more meaningful life. I listened 2X and I will listen again for sure.

Historia
Stunning...a wonderful listen...a handbook for life. Those words of advance praise from another celebrated author scarcely convey just how powerfully mesmerizing is the latest book by New York Times best-selling author and nationally syndicated radio talk show host Larry Elder. Dear Father, Dear Son is a personal memoir of Elder's troubled - one might even say tortured - relationship with his father, and the astonishing outcome that develops when Elder, at long last, confronts him.

Perspective
Revisado: 10-18-17
I’ve been an Elder fan forever and loved Larry’s mom’s radio interviews. Hearing the backstory provided perspective and relevance to Larry’s life view. So well written and heartwarming. Every young person today has much to learn from the perspective of our parents and grandparents. What a gift. Thank you for sharing Larry.

Historia
In this shocking, funny, and bluntly honest tour of today's gender discontents, Andrea Tantaros, one of Fox News' most popular and outspoken stars, exposes how the rightful feminist pursuit of equality went too far, and how the unintended pitfalls of that power trade have made women (and men!) miserable.

Very well written, raw real and HONEST. I only wish my 16 year old daughter would read it. The personal stories and life experiences shared by Andrea lend major credibility.
