It touched me right on my heart
Revisado: 08-25-24
Loved the entire book so heartfelt and relatable . We want to believe all the apologies that the abuser says because we love him and wholeheartedly I believe they are sincere and think they can change but they rarely do and it’s not worth it to stick around to see if they do

If you would have told a young John Stamos flipping burgers at his dad’s fast-food joint that one day he’d be a household name and that, at the height of his success, he’d be living alone, divorced, with no kids, high on a cocktail of forgetting, he might’ve asked, “You want fries with that?”

Historia
Behind the curtain of her happy on-screen persona, Valerie Bertinelli’s life has been no easy ride, especially when it comes to her own self-image and self-worth. She waged a war against herself for years, learning to equate her value to her appearance as a child star on One Day at a Time and punishing herself in order to fit into the unachievable Hollywood mold. She struggled to make her marriage to Eddie Van Halen—the true love of her life—work, despite all the rifts the rock-star lifestyle created between them.

Right from the heart of Ricky Martin
Revisado: 06-30-22
I truly enjoyed this book ! Ricky opens his heart and soul and will leave you digging deep into your soul searching for your essence . I would have preferred Ricky reading his own memoir, at times I felt a bit disconnected knowing it wasn’t his beautiful voice , but all in all this was worth reading . I never forwarded any chapters. I do
Wish he wrote more details of his concerts and fans but I must say I learned a lot about him I never knew. But I always m ew he had a beautiful soul , it just shines through his beautiful smile 😊
