All his life, Reyes Alexander Farrow has suffered the torments of the damned. Only one thing has given him hope: the woman who radiates a light that no mortals can see; a light that only the departed can see.... Told from his point of view, Brighter than the Sun chronicles the first time Reyes ever encountered Charley, and how their relationship has been the one thing that can either save him or doom him.

Wow!
Revisado: 10-06-15
This audiobook is definitely worth the buy. I've been waiting to hear more about Reyes' back story and this really gave me a great understanding of what he actually went through. I'm thankful that the narrator is the same even though it is told from Reyes perspective. She did a great job as always!! I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is a Charley Davidson series fan! Another great book by Darynda Jones!

Unexpectedly AWESOME!
Revisado: 04-09-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Written in Red to be better than the print version?
Yes!! This is one of those books that are better in audiobook!
What other book might you compare Written in Red to and why?
I have no books to compare it to. I never listened to a similar story. At first I wanted to compare it to some shapeshifter books I have read but as the story progressed, the characters were so much different than those books. They were WAY better!!!!
What about Alexandra Harris’s performance did you like?
I was surprised that I ended up liking her performance. At first it did seem a bit boring but as more characters were introduced, her performance was great. Animal noises and all!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I don't know why but whenever there are animals involved, I get attached to them. So whenever something or someone threatens them in the book, I get emotionally involved. Sam's story did it for me! He is such an adorable character!

Historia
Every morning, A wakes in a different person’s body, a different person’s life. There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere. It’s all fine until the morning that A wakes up in the body of Justin and meets Justin’s girlfriend, Rhiannon. From that moment, the rules by which A has been living no longer apply....

I wasn't ready for it to end!
Revisado: 07-31-13
If you could sum up Every Day in three words, what would they be?
Unique. Interesting. Bittersweet.
What other book might you compare Every Day to and why?
I really don't have a book to compare this too. I enjoyed the how it was unique. I've never read a book with a similar plot.
Which character – as performed by Alex McKenna – was your favorite?
"A" was my favorite. Not only because he was the main character but because the voice was perfect. It could go for either male or female. "A" had so many emotions for each life he or she lived.
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed the book but it did leave me wondering about the characters. It felt incomplete, like there should be a sequel to it or just more to this story. I definitely wasn't ready for it to end.

Never Disappointed!!
Revisado: 02-23-13
Would you consider the audio edition of If I Die to be better than the print version?
I absolutely love the audio version! The narrator did such an awesome job that there is no way you can't get attached to the characters!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Todd was my favorite in this one. He is so selfless and always there for Kaylee.
Which character – as performed by Amanda Ronconi – was your favorite?
Kaylee. I may not be a banshee hero but I can't help but relate in many ways.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I cried and laughed and that alone says a lot about a book. At the end of every book this series, I'm always sad to have to wait so long before the next one! I'm definitely sure that having such a great narrator only made me love this series even more!!!
Any additional comments?
This a must read series!!

Any additional comments?
I absolutely loved this book. I was sort of cautious because I didn't think it could get any better than the last one but it so did!! I definitely don't regret my purchase. My friends often think I'm crazy talking about this book like they were real people, but since they are so good it's so hard not to get attached to the characters. I really didn't want to finish it so soon but I just couldn't stop listening to it. The ending to this book was so unexpected and shocking that I CAN'T wait until the next one!!!

Sad to see it end..
Revisado: 02-17-12
What made the experience of listening to Mockingjay the most enjoyable?
The narrator's voice was perfect. Although I sort thought it would sound younger since Katniss is still a teenager but the narrator did a beautiful job on bringing the story to life. I couldn't stop listening to it!
What did you like best about this story?
I hate to see it end, I wanted this series to last a long time but it ended great. I did want to a fairy tale ending where everyone is happy and they get what the fought so long for, but the way this book ended was amazing. It was a bitterweet and powerful ending.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The moment were Katniss sang the hanging man song. I got goosebumps and couldn't stop humming it. That is one song I will not forget for a while.
