WHY CHANGE THE NARRATOR for book 7?

The new narrator is awful. So much so I can’t listen to the story. I skipped to the end just to be leave a review. Listen before you purchase to see if you can tolerate her. I requested a refund but was denied because I didn’t use a credit. Beware

Not his best work

The narration was annoying and too slow. I had to listen at 1.3x to get through it. The stories didn’t fit together and for most of the story it felt like two different books. At one point I no longer cared what happened to the main characters. Pass.

The human spirit

This was an excellent story. Painfull to get through as time. These people had to face skang atrocities yet they persevered. I am amazed at the strength of the human spirit and marvel at the determination of these people. It brought me to tears. I finished while driving to NH and had to pull over to leave a review. I was so moved by this book I will be reflecting on it for days and weeks to come.

Narration is terrible

Female narrator sounded childish and had an childish sounding voice. Speaks poorly. Narrators should be able to pronounce words properly. Picture is not “pitcher” The reading did nothing flow well. The female friends voice had a lisp which seemed intentional. Just weird.

Narrator - poor enunciation

Decent story. I was so aggravated by the poor enunciation I almost deleted the book. I hung in there for a decent story. The narrator needs to learn to pronounce the letter “T” within words. Her T’s are pronounced as D’s and worse dropped all together. Demise was pronounced demiZe not demiCe. Theatre is NOT pronounced as theder.
Threatened is not threadened. Forgotten is not forgoden. And on and on.

Decent story, performance awful

Story line was ok. Sentence structure lacking.
The worst part was the narrator.
Bitter springs was pronounced as SHPrings. Other words also pronounced dreadfully. Extra syllables added. As one individual commented at times I did not know which character was speaking. I would have asked for a refund but I obtained the book through the romance package. I will avoid any books with this narrator.
