Historia
She used to work for the US government, but very few people ever knew that. An expert in her field, she was one of the darkest secrets of an agency so clandestine it doesn't even have a name. And when they decided she was a liability, they came for her without warning. Now she rarely stays in the same place or uses the same name for long. They've killed the only other person she trusted, but something she knows still poses a threat. They want her dead, and soon.

Cute story but very predictable
Revisado: 12-21-17
This genre should be labeled as a romance novel than a mystery/thriller. The romance between the characters was very predictable, as well as the annoying relationship with the brother. Not as thrilling as I had initially though it would be.
SPOILER ALERT: Everyone has a happy ending.

Dark... just, dark.
Revisado: 12-21-17
I really enjoyed this story! It definitely had me on my toes wondering what will happen next. The only complaint I have is that the ending was very abrupt. While the story had a great build up, the ending left me wanting. Regardless, I enjoyed this book and the narrator very much. A GOOD QUICK LISTEN!

Superstar comedian and Hollywood box-office star Kevin Hart turns his immense talent to the written word by writing some words. Some of those words include: the, a, for, above, and even even. Put them together and you have the funniest, most heartfelt, and most inspirational memoir on survival, success, and the importance of believing in yourself since Old Yeller.

Too "self helpy"
Revisado: 09-30-17
I think Kevin Hart is hilarious, not just in the stories he tells but in the delivery of those words. This one felt a little short of what I was expecting. I was expecting to laugh out loud a several times, like in Tina Fey's Bossy Pants or David Sedaris' Me Talk Pretty One Day, but the book felt more of an inspirational essay. "If you work hard, you can achieve anything..." I wouldn't mind it once or twice in the book but it's a recurrent theme. I do however like the story he has to tell. The events that happened to him through out his life are really funny AND you really couldn't make that stuff up. Didn't laugh as much and as hard as I was expecting to but it is a great listen nonetheless.

Very unique plot
Revisado: 08-18-17
I really enjoyed this book. I think it combines a dystopian future, pop culture, and an underdog tale very well. It did sound as somewhat of a teen novel, with very simple writing, and Wheaton's narration was just ok. All in all, it was entertaining, funny, and clever. My favorite parts were all the 80's references!

I am in love with Amy Poehler
Revisado: 10-09-15
Yeah yeah yeah... I'm a typical fan. For all the typical fans out there:
In her book, she's smart, funny, insightful, and daring. It reminds me a lot of her BFF Tina Fey's book Bossypants. Well of course they are two different people and they speak of their own experience but it's like they share one hilarious soul. I also enjoyed her guest speakers ;)
For all of the non-typical Amy Poehler fans: *This woman is an empowering, feminist, iconic, hilarious, genius.
For all of the Amy Poehler haters: you guys can suck it. *Refer to the statement above.

Good Mystery Novel, Not Great
Revisado: 10-09-15
I enjoyed the story line as well as the narration but it falls short of its comparison to Gone Girl. I was surprised towards the end but through out the book it was more of a whiney experience that seemed to drag on. There's only one huge surprise really, and that's the reveal of the murderer. There are really no other surprises pertaining to the murder mystery itself. All in all, good story just not great.

Hysterical telling of the dangers of social media
Revisado: 07-09-14
The story itself, if true, is very creepy stalker-esque. The author/narrator does an okay job. His voice is monotone, so no intonation during funny or sarcastic moments. He does crack a couple jokes that would be funnier if his voice was more interesting. The story is definitely funnier than probably intended.
