Disappointed
Revisado: 10-13-22
Not able to give thorough review because too much self complaining and didn't get to part if Dad was evil or not. As a medical professional I believe in helping those experienceing extreme pain and suffering who pray for a way to end that suffering should have an option to do so! So needless to say I couldn't even finish book!!

Series usually lose momentum when more than 2 books included. We'll see if this author defies the odds and maintains 4-5 star for whole series.

I really enjoyed this book. I hope rest of the series as good. I had no idea the extreme struggles they endured! Very sad. I guess close minded people have always been present. This proves that!

On the eve of Utah’s admittance into the Union, Rebecca Kade has more pressing concerns on her mind than celebrating statehood. Her parents’ untimely deaths. Very bad ending for a series!
Revisado: 09-14-22
I'm not sure why the author thought it'd be a good idea to write extensively about the Kade family in the first 3 volumes, only to skip ahead 20 yrs to the next generation and not mention any of them again!
Poorly executed ending to what began as a very good series.

Very Disappointing
Revisado: 09-13-22
Extremely boring. No adventures of any kind. And so much boring content. Nothing comparable to first 2 books. Sadly that's usually par for course with book series. Reads more like a young adult romance! When you have beloved characters like Lydia and Christian, you don't just remove them.
