I love love LOVED this book. It is rich with history, but the story was fantastic. It was very different than many historical romances I have read, but absolutely wonderful! The narrator is very good, too. Duncan and Anna both stole my heart in different ways! I highly recommend this series! ♥️

HOT AND STEAMY with a side of tenderness

I am fairly new to the sci fi scene, so had no real expectations, except that I have read some of this author's books and REALLY enjoyed them. This one did not disappoint; actually I LOVED it! There was just enough spice with interesting interactions between super gorgeous alien men and their female human captives. I really enjoyed the relationship between Kerr and Eva. He was a super Alpha sweetheart and she was stubborn and feisty with a cute side. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series!
It took me a bit to get used to the dual narration, but I felt they both did a good job on the main characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the story line and the writer's way with words. I am very much looking forward to hearing the stories from the other characters!

Sweet and Hot Daddy Dom!

I listened to the first book in the Boston Doms series, then skipped to this one. It is actually Book 4, but it came highly recommended, so I listened to it out of order, and I am not sorry. Slay and Alice have amazing chemistry, but they are also enjoyable individually, as well. Slay was so sweet and caring -- and dominant - what a man! And Alice was a totally involved single mom with a submissive personality backed by a determined spirit. She needed a daddy and he needed a baby girl. It was a wonderful read! I will definitely go back and catch up on the others before finishing the series!

I LOVED this book. I love the camaraderie among this tight group of friends and the feel of getting to know all of the characters as the story (and series) continue. Angel and Adam were strong and sweet and amazing and fun and genuine. It was also a great look into the BDSM scene, which I had not been familiar with before. I look forward to listening to the rest of the books in this series!

I love Love LOVED this book! It is one of my favorite Georgette Heyer books. I just listened to it for the 7th time! All of the characters are so well drawn and the story is riveting. Hero and Sherry are quite in my top favorites of her books.

My Favorite of the Series

This was my first experience with this author, and I am so thrilled to have discovered her. I loved all of the books in this series, but this was my absolute favorite. It was interesting throughout and all of the characters came to life in the entire series. There was just enough angst to keep it interesting without becoming tedious or tiresome. I cannot wait to read more of her books after I listen to this entire series again right away. It will be like spending time with old friends.

I did not realize this was a novella, so would not have used a whole credit for sure. This was the end of a 9 book series and they changed the narrator!!! It was awful from beginning to end. AND, she mis-pronounced the name of one of the main characters the entire way through -- in the NINTH book! I have no idea how this is possible. Where were the other people who worked in this project? I am sad for this author; she deserves so much better. I have never written a review before, but could not let this slide. I am very disappointed.
