Disappointing. Woke themes in a children’s book.

Just why. This series was clean and appropriate for the longest time and seemed to hold out on giving in to the loud minority much longer than most mainstream books. It mentions 2 gay couples and talks about people loving each other any way they want. You have to remember that this is targeted for 8-13 year olds that shouldn’t not have to be exposed to woke themes. It was a mistake to buy this book and I will not be buying the next one.

Now the goddess Hecate has offered Percy another “opportunity”—all he has to do is pet sit her polecat, Gale, and mastiff, Hecuba, over Halloween week while she is away. Piece of cake, right?

No woke bs

I feel like most writers and main stream media have fallen off a cliff. It is nice to have a break from that stuff with this book, which is well written and very exiting, especially science it’s a 2024 Percy Jackson book. Thank you for just writing a nice book and putting no extra stuff in it.
