I was really disappointed in the book... Just seemed annoying to me... especially the way the female character spoke and carried on... very wordy and contemptuous.
The original John Wayne movie is better than the book.

Overall good story... I enjoyed the tie end

What did you like best about The Outcast? What did you like least?
I enjoyed the ending and how it tied back to the other books. What I disliked the most is the author's use of the word, "scowled." It became annoying to see it some many times throughout the book. There are other words which can be used to described how a person reacts to a situation. Also, mentioning the ability to do more had Sameena’s Trade Empire had more time to build up their fleet. I understood it the first 5X it was mentioned...
