You hear news stories like the events that happen in this book - I think that could never happen to me. It's a slow burn ❤️🔥 of how spouses and partners can be manipulated. I had to keep changing the volume and speed because of the narrator. Other than that, worth a listen.

The story overall was great, however I disliked how the husband had a lot going for him -but seemed to fall apart at any/ all obstacles. The narrator started to get on my nerves, when the husband faced diversity his voice was like nails on chalkboard. I sometimes wonder what Audible Book producers are thinking. Worth listening to for sure, but be prepared to want to reach into the book and slap the husband.

I wasn't sure in the first hour if I would like this. Once I got into it I was hooked. I loved a couple of the female characters and how they worked things out. The ending was fantastic.

Best book I've listened to in a long while. Had hints of, "Behind Closed Doors". Finished in two days in spite of working full time. Speeding up the narration speed to 1.10 is best.

Although I finished this book, it was a little drawn out. The main female's husband is made out to have no situational awareness and seems really boring. All of the sudden, she can't live without him. There are some really funny parts, main character talks to herself in her head. Mainly drama, not suspense.

The narration was terrible, her voice grated on my nerves. She might be a good choice for a romance novel, but as far as a crime thriller - just awful.

I don't know, this is my first one and not very impressed.

I wouldn't listen to it again, it is a super teeny bopper book.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Maybe develop some more adult roles.

The narrator did good, however she had a very young voice. It started to get on my nerves after a while.

My emotions did not get to the laugh or cry factor, the book was based on events that have happened many times in the last few years. I have listened to this book, by watching the news.

Baby Doll was a not a thriller in any way, not a suspense book either. Good deep themed although.
