This is a story you definitely have to follow from the very beginning. It is very well written and easy to follow. At times the narrator comes off as officer friday, just a facts ma'am, just a facts.

Honestly thought it was a good story, and I think worth the read.
Mr. Michael Grumly puts himself in league with such story tellers as James Rollins and Scott Sigler.
I would suggest you give it a try.

I think William Shatner would be proud, a series that combines TJ Hooker and Star trek. it's a story that is stuffed with some of the best Traits that humanity has to offer only that the cast is not all human. it's funny ,crude ,sentimental and good entertainment. the narrator sometimes sounds like he is reading stereo instructions, but does a good job of connecting the story with the characters. all in all very enjoyable series. looking forward to the next installment.

I do love a good post apocalyptic good guys win story,and that is exactly what this is. Was it somewhat predictable? well yes, was it a little shallow in the back story? yes it was. was there some similarities to the Odd Todd story? well somewhat. was it entertaining? Indeed it was. Mr.Halstead did a great job narrating the story giving life to N.C Reeds cast of characters. If you haven't, I suggest you expense N.C Reeds other work , Odd Todd.

Stephen King is undeniably a great writer. However he is also a hardcore liberal, There are plenty of times in the story where he makes that grulingly apparent. It just seems hard to believe that an ex marine sniper turned bounty hunter Would have left leaning views .Politics aside it was a really good story.
