Historia
What would you do if you were the last person on Earth? Resilient - it's what I need to be to survive this. I don't know what happened, but the Africa I wake up to is not the friendly one I'm used to. Deathly silence and hollow-eyed corpses are all that greet me when I finally come to. What happened? How will I survive?

This was a different kind of book. I enjoyed it very much. The narrator did a very good job. This makes you think of things that could happen like this and makes you wonder what you would do. Throw in some scary scientists who have gone mad and you get a great story. I like the end where they go out and find other survivors in their country and get them all together. That is about the best way to survive something like that.

After their last battle, something comes to light that has the potential to throw the immortals into further turmoil and danger. Once more, they must band together. This time, not just to defeat an enemy. After the sighting of a big cat in the area hits the press, and a dead body is found, they must also throw a reporter off their scent. Great Story
Revisado: 03-15-21
Wonderful conclusion to the series. Again, I loved the stories and the narrator grew on me a bit, not a lot. These poor folks can’t catch a break and they are all running on fumes. They finally think they are getting a break and again that does not happen. They have kidnappings, murder and an old enemy resurfaces. At the end of book 7 is a good set up for a spin off series and I loved it. I would recommend the series to all as long as you are over 18.

Great Story
Revisado: 02-27-21
This is the second book in the Dark Trilogy and I loved it! I cried a few times because some of the main characters died, I won’t say which ones. The adventure takes up where it left off in the first book and keeps you hopping from start to finish. There is intrigue and deception that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The narrator was great, I have listened to many of his books and enjoyed each. I am eagerly awaiting the final book!

Wonderful Story

I loved listening to these books! The narration was spot on and kept you engaged thru all the stories. This almost sounds like the American Revolution where we fought to get out from under a dictator. I cried a lot during portions of the story because of the cruelty and loss suffered by the people. All of the stories intertwine and you see some in the last book that you saw in the first book and so it goes. The stories were well written and kept you coming back for more. I love books by Rachel Ford and will continue to read her or listen to her stories in the future.

This was a very entertaining story! The narration was great! It is set in a small town which I love because I am from a small town. Everyone knowing everyone’s business is par for the course. It was a sweet story of a man and woman coming together to accomplish something for the town which is slowly dying. The mayor they all think ran away with the towns money. That was not the case but you will have to read the story or listen to it to find out what happened. I loved it.

Okay I know the name of the AI on the ship from another book, her name was Jill I read it. I will remember eventually it was another CD Tavenor book that I enjoyed. This story keeps you going from start to finish, there is a problem to solve and it needs to be done fast. I enjoyed the narrator’s performance the entire time.

Good Short

Good Story! I guess this guy is a demon of something like it. He tries to help people in the story. In the end it seems he is the only one who wishes to keep humans alive. The group he tried to save are killed and he is put on trial for treason. He explains his reasoning but still gets hard time. The story is different from any other but I have come to expect that from C.D. Tavenor. The narrator did a good job with the story.

Interesting short story! It packed a lot into the story and the narrator did a good job with it. In the story there are killer shrooms, robots and disembodied voices giving tests that must be passed to earn his position. There is also the threat of death if he does not choose correctly. I really enjoyed it.

I haven’t read this author before but I must say I was impressed. I must say I am not at all into prophesies because it makes people do crazy things. Hence the vampire’s actions in this book, he thinks only of the prophecy and not what he wants and especially not what she wants. After all that it comes to light his actions were his alone it was all about choices. There are many working parts in this book and they start to tie in well toward the end. Throw in a shifter who is also part of the prophecy and things get really interesting. I look forward to the next book because I really want to know what happens next. The narrator did a good job with the entire performance I really enjoyed it.

Revisado: 12-19-20
Awesome conclusion to the Muse stories. I loved that Mikolas and Trinity found each other finally. I hated Ted all thru the stories because of what he was doing to the Muse’s but he finally redeemed himself in the end. I loved how all past and present muse’s showed up for the opening of the theater. The whole story was inspiring for me, because you can always accomplish what you set your mind to. Trinity and Mikolas did not give up even though that had a few brushes with death. I highly recommend this series in the written and audible formats. The narrator did an awesome job.
