If she can't seduce him and become his mate, the dragon hunters will kill her. Of course, Evie doesn't know the first thing about seducing a man, let alone a dragon-shifter, but with her life on the line, she's going to have to become a fast learner or die trying.

Good story but crude language
Revisado: 03-14-17
The stories are good and entertaining but the author's liberal and frequent use of the very vulgar "p*ssy" and never calling the sex "making love", instead always choosing to use the also crude "f**king" makes the stories seem less than they are. But overall the stories themselves with those words ignored are fun and entertaining. Please tone down the language Ms Donovan and your stories will shine. Thank you

Historia
As a half-breed dragon, Torque never had the luxury of choosing his future. Not only did his father barter him to the highest bidder, but a rare Shinto fey claimed to see him in a vision that involved recovering a lost treasure for the powerful dragon Synge - a destiny that might have been bearable if the vision hadn't included a mating with Rya, Synge's half-breed daughter. Who could blame him for being resigned to rather than thrilled with his fate?

Narrator is terrible!
Revisado: 02-24-17
If you are going to narrate a book, the least you should do is is learn how to pronounce the names of characters that have been recurring since the very first book in a long list of books in the series that started it all. Levet is pronounced *Leh-VAY* not just *Leh-vet*. It was completely distracting from the story bcuz you're constantly correcting the narrator in your mind, leaving you unable to focus on the story itself. The narrator also went WAY over-the-top with a too-fast, nasally voice for him. Our favorite little chunk of granite went from being dear to our hearts to a major annoyance and we just wanted him to shut the hell up and leave the scene. She also spoke so rapidly and without the proper inflections and necessary pauses, all the while not making the proper adjustments in other characters voices that it just ruined the purchase for me. I'll be returning the book back to audible tonight (purchased it in the wee hours of the morning this morning). I never really thought a narrator could ruin a great story but I stand corrected. All in all, the narrator totally ruined this book in a spin-off from a long beloved series of books. I'm completely disappointed in Ms. Ivy allowing this narration to go forward into publication. :-(

Revisado: 07-19-15
OMG! This is even better than the original Fifty Shades of Grey! Granted, you need to read the original series first before reading (listening) to this version or you won't understand. But this book just takes the cake so far! I loved it! I can't wait for E.L. James to release the second installment from Christian's perspective. So...when WILL the second one be released? I want it NOW! Lol

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

I love "The Blackest Elf"!
Revisado: 01-13-15
Adam Black is sooooo bad, he's good! I love this Highlander book so much because it shows that how we perceive someone on the outside, what they show to to us thru their words or actions just may have some really good reasons for those actions on the inside. All the other things that have been said about Adam or actions that he's taken in the other Highlander books make complete sense now. The oft-times seemingly cruel and always mischievous Adam meets his ultimate match in the intrepid and feisty Gabby as they team up to try and outrun or at least evade the certain death that stalks them across the American mid-west all the way to Europe and into the Highlands of Scotland, they must do the impossible and attempt to summon the elusive Fairy Queen to save their lives, the human race and even all of the Fairy before it's too late. But will they succeed or will they lose all including each other?

Grimm...Yummmmm!
Revisado: 01-09-15
The story of Grimm is great! I've read Ms. Moning's Highlander book series (I've read ALL of her book series for that matter!) so many times each that I can't keep count. Now that I have a Kindle and iPad to listen to them, it's even better (and I've now listened to all of them more times than I can count! Lol) because i can listen to them as I fall asleep. :) I found the story of Grimm fascinating since it weaves the myths and tales of Scotland in with the characters and storylines from Moning's creative imagination. This book is definitely a good read AND a great audio book, whichever you choose. It's definitely worth the purchase. Two thumbs up on this one!

AWESOME Book!
Revisado: 01-07-15
What is not to love about any and ALL of Karen Moning's' Highland novels? This one Definitely does not disappoint! Buy it, you'll love it! Especially since it brings in the beginnings of Adam Black. Although I hated him in the beginning (this book), by the time he gets his own book, you'll love him, laugh at his antics and cheer him on. In this book however, you'll be cheering for for Hawk and Adrienne. He's a dominant male, adored by females far and wide who finds his match made in....well, let's just say he finds his match in the strong-willed, yet saucy and funny heroine, Adrienne, who can definitely hold her own against this Highland hottie!

I loved this book!
Revisado: 01-05-15
As usual, Alexandra Ivy managed to write another book in a series that started out with Dante, Viper, Styx, Jahgr, Conde, etc and they've all flowed seamlessly right into Tane and Laylah's story. It's probably one of the better ones like Viper or Stlyx's stories with twists and turns that you don't see coming until they hit! I would highly recommend Tane & Laylah's story if you've liked the others in this series. Way to go, Ms. Ivy, you've done it again and getting better and better as each storyline comes out! Keep 'em coming!!!
