Excellent-now I want to know all of the wives.
Revisado: 12-26-22
i excited to wnjoy more of the titles by this author. I have enjoyed getting to know more about king henry and his wives. I wish I could give 4.5 stars for the story rather than 4. I felt like some parts got redundant and slow moving in Katherine's trials and the book could've stood to be a bit shorter, but all in all my kids and I loved and inhaled it and I simply fat forwarded through honeymoon night with the king for a minute and a half. i will definitely be reading more from this author and specifically looked up titles read by this narrator because i thoight she did an excellent job making the voices distinguishable. Well done.

I have listened to this book several times now. I love the way Clear breaks down every step of the skill building process for making life altering changes that stick. He connects each chapter with either personal or relevant stories that demonstrate the importance of the skill to make it relatable. I will definitely be recommending this book to others.

Lust for Life is Irving Stone's biographical novel about the life of the Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh. Largely based on the letters Van Gogh wrote to his brother, Theo, the novel details the artist's difficult life, as well as describing the origins of many of his famous paintings, such as The Potato Eaters, Sunflowers, and others.

Life Changing
Revisado: 09-17-22
I feel like this book not only helped me understand Van Gogh on an extreme depth, but the struggle of all painters. To hear his heart breaks throughout life was so intense that it brought me to tears a couple of times. It has helped me to understand the cost at which we have masterpieces today and to have a greater desire to understand the hearts of the artists as I look at the painting. Well don’t Mr. Stone. The narration was fantastic and definitely had me thinking I should look into more books for which he has narrated.

Excellent support for families
Revisado: 01-29-22
The Peck family have poured their hearts and souls into their mission of teaching families self government. I first read the book a few years ago after several recommendations from other families. We immediately started evacuating some of the principles, but I felt overwhelmed with all of the steps. In listening to the audio this time around, I realized the principles I had mastered had built a beautiful foundation for us to review and implement all that I hadn’t been able too do the first time around. It has completely flowed despite the addition of children and new life challenges. Start where you’re at, use that which feels natural and continue to add in more principles and your family and your personal life will be blessed with great abundance. It works! Greater peace and self government is just around the corner my friend.

Not a lot of new info
Revisado: 08-29-21
It didn’t really have many new ideas in my opinion. It felt like most of what was in the book would’ve naturally been learned by someone with a large family who had been homeschooling. Perhaps the audience was more for if someone who has a large family and had been public schooling decided to switch to home.

Excellent read
Revisado: 08-28-21
The book is well read by Jeannie with a loving voice. The content and explanation for how the body works is excellent for my elementary aged kids. We’ve loved listening all together. I really appreciate how they have little creation explanations that show how God thinks things through or scripture back up health principles. Love it!

As the world anticipates its end, we Latter-Day Saints are preparing to build the city of Zion. With so much emphasis on building Zion physically on earth, we sometimes forget the best place to build Zion is within our own hearts. John Pontius carefully details the importance of Zion in our own lives, opening our eyes to our oft-overlooked obligations and vast privileges.

Fantastic break down of scriptures
Revisado: 08-15-21
I love how Brother Pontus carefully broke down the scriptures to show what a journey of coming to know the Savior personally would look like. This book was given to me by a friend and I have since gifted it to many other. This is one of my favorite books of all time.
