Ok
Revisado: 01-17-08
As sequels go...this was good. I was a little sorry not to relive the Hollywood drama that was in the Second Assistant...instead she ran away to avoid everything. But I still thought the story light and engaging. The author still managed to be funny without being corny and unbelievable.

Interesting history. Good plot with great twist at the end. I enjoyed the authors take on what happened to the Templars. He made this a good mystery with action and suspense! Quite pleased!

I enjoyed seeing characters repeated from the author's book Dirty Job. The characters are quirky and outrageously funny. This is my favorite narrator so far. He does an awesome job of carrying you along from character to character with great verve. I have even gone so far as to listen to something just because he is the narrator!

Revisado: 01-17-08
I was a little disappointed with this book...It started out okay with the girl going after what she wanted - to be with her guy. In order to do this she had to tackle her "hoping she was her soon-to-be-mother-in-law". This is fine...she made her plans to become her new bestfriend while Charlie is out of town and then proceeds to bumble her way through meeting after meeting. Finally she goes so far as to cancel her plans to meet Charlie to hang out with his mother so that she can have her invite to the final party. However I bummed out that the ending was predictable in the fact that Charlie finds another girl and Anna and him break it off... Well dah!!! Predictable plot and not very imaginative characters. Put I enjoyed the narrators animation of this story. She alone kept me sucked in - sort of...

Tedious
Revisado: 01-17-08
This story drug on and on and on. I thought - Hey! this will be a great little mystery book, but instead she puts down each of her clients saying that because she was a woman she could figure everything out. Irritating!!! It started with the crocodile seen and went on til the very end, one tedious plot after the next. After I read this I found out that my sister wasn't able to finish it and I asked her why she hadn't warned me!

Historia
A smart, deeply satisfying romantic comedy about a woman's obsession with the return of her fiancé's ex. On the Delta Shuttle between New York and Washington, Elise finds herself sitting next to Donald—tall, with dark wavy hair, a big easy smile. She’s left the world of women's magazines in Manhattan for graduate school in D.C. He’s left investment banking to become a teacher. They are both unattached. They exchange stories. They fall in love. One year later they’re headed for an April wedding. Storybook finish? Not quite.

Struggled!
Revisado: 04-04-07
This story was a struggle...The storyline drags and I am not really sure that I can feel for the main character. I felt blah listening to her trials and her fiance is a drip. I didn't make it very far into the story because of them. A total snore!!!!!!

Historia
People start dropping dead around Charlie, giant ravens perch on his building, and it seems that everywhere he goes, a dark presence whispers to him from under the streets. Strange names start appearing on his nightstand notepad, and before he knows it, those people end up dead, too. Yup, it seems that Charlie Asher has been recruited for a new job, an unpleasant but utterly necessary one: Death.

Revisado: 04-04-07
I was so surprised about this book! Didn't know what I was getting into when I first started listening - even thought this is kinda crazy and the character is borderline psychotic, but muddled through the first chapter or so and ended up laughing my way to the end. Charlie's sister is one of my favorite characters, stealing her brother's wardrobe... Also Charlie's daughter is a blast with her "Hellhounds". Have already recommended this book to all my friends and have gone on to read "Lamb" by Christopher Moore as well. Great author...I look forward to reading more from him!

I liked this story. It was fast-paced and kept you guessing as to who the culprit was. I was compelled after listening to this book to read others by the same other and am currently reading R is for Ricochet. Would recommend this book to anyone.
